School on the first day ain't all that bad, I'll say this. I met with a lot of my old friends and I said hi to everyone before excusing myself and going over to see Max, who then disappeared with some dude so that made me alone with Amber to go to class.
We talked a little about Friday's night but when she asked what I did after she left, I changed the subject as well as I could, not wanting to lie nor to explain how I did more than make out with a guy but less than have sex in a bathroom of some random dude's house.
I'll say it's understandable.
Honestly I don't even know if I'd recognize the guy if I'd see him in front of me because the only light during the whole thing was the one coming from the little window on the opposite wall that we made sure to close as to not bless the neighbors with our not so contained moans. Plus, I was extremely drunk and I'm pretty sure he was too by the talking nonsense bickering we had to know who'll close that actual window.
Who the hell puts windows in bathrooms anyways.
As I was recalling those events, I remembered that he actually gave me his number. Or at least series of number on my arm I found when I took out my makeup. And I'm still wondering where he found a pen.
I don't know his name thought.
Thinking about all of these and the flashbacks of the way he grabbed the back of my tights while making my eyes roll back in pleasure make me zone out enough that Amber had to snap her fingers in front of my face.
"Earth to Kianora, did you get laid yesterday or what?" She says jokingly but fortunately she doesn't have time to ask about the expression on my face as we arrive at our destination which is is maths class.
I actually like maths unless most people, but starting at 8 am by finding the value of an infinity of letters no one cares about isn't probably the best way to start the day.
I make it to lunch, and I depart the classroom as fast as I can to look around trying to find the cafeteria and I would have taken more time if I didn't have saw Max far away.
I quicken up my pace to get to him but I, on the way, collide with the oh so no inevitable wall of all romance stories.
But the bad luck seems to be following me, because it not some amazing blue eyes that I'm met with, belonging to someone that will later become my soulmate, but the way too familiar ones of Leo. My ex, ladies and gentlemen.
He steadies me by my shoulder and a genuine grin comes across his lips. Now that I'm no longer a foot way from alcool and I know that the chances of me doing something stupid lessened up considerably enough for me to be at least a little happy to see him.
"Hey, how are you? You kind of disappeared at some point during the party. I looked for you but Max told me it was fine and that you were probably dancing somewhere." he says showing genuine concern on his face for a split second.
