Hey,I've been working on this story for almost six months now, I wanted to update it for the first time on the first day of the month, so here it is. I can't wait to share it with anyone who would like to read it. Doesn't matter if it's one person or a hundred, hope whoever you are you'll like it.
English isn't my first language, but I'll try to make it as perfect as possible.
This a sports romance, about tennis and boxing, underrated in the romance world in my opinion. I know all there is to know about tennis and a fair amount about boxing but that's in my first language, however words obviously differ in english, so I will look up what I don't know so if you have a vocabulary word or something that could be different please tell me.
I already wrote the first chapters, I just need to edit them and I'll continue to write everytime i get the opportunity.
Please don't think twice about making a comment or anything like that, it'll make my day to see anyone giving this fragment of my imagination the smallest bit of attention.
Enjoy.
Slightly longer description
Kianora has only one goal for her first year in college, away from the small town where she grew up. Everybody knew her there and now that she is in the big city, she plans on making herself proud, and mostly her mom, by having the best grade possible while still enjoying her "golden years" as they all say.
Yet, despite her stronger beliefs, managing to study, box as much as she can and having a social life may be more difficult then she planned.
The only thing that she does not have time for is getting in a relationship. Been there, done that, didn't work out, and she's now convinced that the only place where true love exists is covered by the pages of her books.
Jayden enters his first year of college, meeting back everyone he left behind when he moved away from his small town exactly a year ago.
Having pushed aside his studies for a year, he's more than determined to get back on track, both in class and on the the tennis court. And maybe he will be able to reach the closest thing to perfection which he desperately seeks.
Love has no place in his schedule, as tennis already takes a big place of his life. After being gone for a year, a lot of things have changed, but yet not his mutual hatred with the girl that invaded his personal space by her fists as well as his thoughts for more than the last decade of both their life.
Hatred is all they ever known and yet their messy relationship will be tested at multiple occasions, starting by the in-the-dark moment they shared before even seeing each other's faces in the light after a long year.
When the attirance and tension they decide to solve drastically clash with the need to create a lie for the stranger eye, will their tumultuous relationship not dangerously approach a real relationship? As in dating, the thing they both wish to avoid?
