Needless arguments

The days until the appointment passed terribly slowly and Louis was close to lose his mind. Him and Harry had to lie to their friends to keep their secret from them which actually wasn't that difficult because Liam and Niall couldn't keep their hands off each other and Zayn was- when he was with them- too exhausted to note anything. Sierra had practically kicked him out of the house twice during the week where Liam and Niall were over to get a break and spend some time with the boys because he barely let her do anything, he changed Henry's nappies, occupied him so Sierra could rest and only let her feed him if necessary. Another reason for Louis' imbalance was that he couldn't wait until they'd find out if the tests were correct or not and although he was still scared shitless and had doubts more often than not he was excited.

So when the doctor confirmed it to them that they were indeed expecting another baby and that Harry was in the third week he didn't hide his happiness and neither did Harry.

Louis insisted that Harry slept over as often as possible- which was by now every day- to keep an eye on him and to make sure that he was around if he didn't feel good. Of course Harry happily agreed and with every passing day more and more of his stuff made its way into Louis' house.

"Hey, love." Louis greeted Harry- who was sitting in the living room texting with Niall- when he came home from work. As so often Harry spent the day there because he had nothing else to do anyway because the job topic was off the table by now. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm good, Lou." Harry chuckled.

Louis walked over to him and loosened his tie before he leaned down and pecked his lips.

"Are you sure?" Louis checked and Harry rolled his eyes with a smile.

"Yes, I'm sure. I'm a bit scared for the following weeks when the morning sickness kicks in and stuff." Harry cringed.

"Maybe this time you will be saved from it." Louis said softly and plopped down next to him.

"Fingers crossed." Harry grinned. "Why are you here already anyway?" He asked as he glanced at the clock. It was unusual for Louis to get out of the office at two thirty already.

"Because I wanted to spend time with you. I know a big problem in our relationship was that I was working so much and I don't want to make the same mistakes again, so whenever I can get out of work early I take the opportunity." Louis explained.

"Oh." Harry said surprised. "Oh, that's...yeah, that's great."

"You don't sound so thrilled." Louis frowned.

"No! No, yeah I am..." Harry chewed on his bottom lip contemplating to voice his thoughts that were running through his head for a few days now.

"But?" Louis pressed. "I know you have something on your mind. We wanted to be honest, remember?"

"Yeah, you're right. I just...I'm scared of your reaction." Harry admitted.

"Darling. Whatever it is you can tell me, yeah?" Louis assured.

"Okay..." Harry sighed. "So I was thinking, well, we spend so much time together, right? And I sleep over everyday anyway and Ava seems to be so happy to get all of the attention from both of us, so I was thinking maybe it would be good for us, you know as a family, when we kind of, I don't know, move in together or something." He said nervously.

Louis leaned back slightly in surprise. He wasn't surprised because it may be too early for them but more that Harry suggested it. He had also already thought about it, but he feared it could scare Harry away again and that he wasn't ready for that yet.

"Oh..." He said with big eyes.

"You know what? That was a stupid idea. Just forget about it, it's way too early and, yeah. Forget it." Harry rushed out quickly misinterpreting Louis' reaction.
