I woke up what seemed a little late, but once I finally got out of bed, I got dressed and walked out to the living room and I saw Noah and Nicky sitting on the couch reading a book together.
"Hello there boys. I see you guys are getting along really well."
"Hi mommy!" Nicky says all excited and gets up to give me a hug.
"Hi baby! You look so good. Did you get dressed all by yourself?"
"No mommy. Noah helped me. He also got me breakfast and we were reading!" He sounds so happy and that makes me happy.
"Hey baby are you okay if I talk to Noah real quick?"
"Okay mommy. Can I play in my room?"
"Yes baby go ahead!" I gave him one last hug and watched him run off to his room. "Hello Noah. So we have a lot to talk about. First things first, thank you so much for watching Nicky this morning. He seems to really like you which is a good thing to me."
Noah sat up and looked happy "Of course. Now that we're matched together, I will help raise Nicky like he is mine. He will be my priority as well."
"I appreciate that. Second, because you're my match, I am allowed to tell you about Nicky. So he is Emmy's baby.He doesn't know that obviously and I'm not allowed to tell him. I am not sure who the father is. I was told Emmy cheated on, well, you and happened to get pregnant. They allowed her to have the baby before they killed her. He has been mine ever since." The look on his face wasn't shocked which leads me to assume that he already knew all of this.
"So, I knew about Nicky being Emmy's and I am so glad you are able to raise him. You have done such a good job so far. He is such a sweet and smart boy. Now do you want to talk about a wedding date. With the Contrality planning it, all we have to do is pick a date."
"Okay yeah I was thinking about next week. I know it's soon, but Nicky isn't big on changing his routine and I want to keep him safe and happy." He looked very happy and that made me happy. His is such a sweet guy, but he is a rule follower and I'm definitely not. I want to tell him everything, but not until we're married and our talks are private.
"That sounds great. Next week it is. I will let the Contrality know."
