In my room, a bright tealish-colored dress is waiting for me with sparkly silver shoes. Next to that is a little suit for Nicky. I can just picture him looking so adorable in that suit.
Once I put it on, I look in the mirror and admire myself. I'm only allowed to do this for 2 minutes but it's never long enough on nights like this. The dress is fitted at the top with a sweetheart neckline and a little flared at the bottom. It's gorgeous. Nicky walks in and sees me.
"Mommy! You are beautiful!" He says.
"Thank you Nicky, and you look dashing in your suit. Are you ready to go?"
"Yes but I need help tying my shoes please"
"Okay baby!" I say as I lean down and tie his shoes for him.

As we walk to the ceremony hall, all I can think about is the night my sister went through this. I was supposed to have my night two years ago but with everything that happened with my sister and Nicky, the Contrality delayed it by a couple years. I hope whoever I match with, loves Nicky as much as I do.
We walked through the doors and the setup is so elegant. Round tables set up beautifully and the stage for the Contrality is perfect. Then I look over and see him.
