I walked into the ceremony hall and seen everybody getting acquainted. The dresses on these women are beautiful. It takes me back to the night I met Emmy.
As I was looking around I saw her. Standing so poise next to Nicky. The dress is gorgeous and she is so beautiful. My Nicky is so handsome as well. If only I could hold him. I know I can't though.
She is walking around and looking at everyone. Her dress accentuates her body perfectly. And her eyes are sparkling under these lights. Before I know it, I'm mesmerized by her and I don't even realize that she's walking towards me.
"Oh hey! You're Emmy's ex-boyfriend right?"
"Um, yeah. How are you? And how is that son of yours?"
"Nicky is perfect as always. He is just so handsome." She says as she looks at him. " I am so lucky to have him. And I am good too. How's everything with you? I see you're back here so that must mean the Contrality is ready to see you with someone else?"
"Yes. We both agreed that it was time again for me to meet my special person. Your sister will forever have a special place in my heart but it is time for me to move on in a way."
"I agree. I hope you find someone. I have to go take a seat now. See you later!" She walked away from me and sat down at a table with Nicky.
I should take my seat now too. My seat is a table with random people. The seating chart has no rhyme or reason. I can't wait to see who the Contrality pairs me with. In a way I hope it's Claire.
