AN/ This is my first book so sorry for any mistakes, I'll try to ask a friend to look over my grammar soon.

Casey sighed, lifting up another box, moving was stressful. His home life had always been problematic since he was young and he couldn't find the best company to keep either. Casey finally made the tough decision to cut off everyone and make a new life for himself, it was different but he felt it really would help him mentally and maybe even physically. He could have time to focus on himself and maybe even meet new people when he felt ready, but for now Casey was content on his own and just wanted to focus on the move and settling in.

Lost in his thoughts Casey stumbles over his feet dropping the hefty box onto his toes. "FuCk" Casey hissed as he bit his lip, fighting the urge to kick the box as revenge. Sighing under his breath Casey pushed the box away and grabbed a pack of cigarettes. A break was in order before he just threw all of his things out from anger, besides, he could get a better look around the property while having a smoke. The idea actually sounded relaxing and Casey decided the unpacking could be put off for the day. It wasn't like he had any obligations or reason to rush just yet anyways. This was quite new to Casey, but he wasn't going to complain.

Casey stepped out onto the long back porch which was covered by red and orange fall leaves. He took a puff before sighing again, smiling to himself. He started down the porch steps hearing the satisfying crunch of fall leaves below his shoes. It was perfectly quiet outside, which was a big contrast to the large city he grew up in, but it was nice. The property he bought was out of the way and he wouldn't be bothered by anyone. A long stretch of trees were laid out behind the house, Casey slowly walked into the woods enjoying the sound of the crickets around him, but as Casey descended into the forest the sound of crickets faded. This reminded Casey of a saying, "if a forest is completely silent then something must be wrong." Not even the wind was in the woods with him. He was completely alone.

Casey shook his head not really caring about the myth and just wanted to look around. His peace was suddenly interrupted as something caught his ankle, throwing him into the air. Casey felt as if he got whiplash from the sudden movement. A blue netting appeared and completely restricted him, shaping to his body so he could barely move. Casey yelped, trying to orient himself, which is rather hard when your entire body isn't facing the right way. His eyes darted around trying to figure out what happened or what the source of the netting was. Casey thought maybe he accidentally set off a hunters trap. Cursing under his breath, barely able to move his arm, he reached for his knife and worked it out of his back pocket. Casey flipped open the pocket knife and tried sawing through the net only for it to shock him, it wasn't a lot of electricity but it scared the shit out of him and the knife was lost to the ground when he let go. Caseys heart beat slowly started to go back to a normal pace after a minute. "Who the fuck has an electric net?? ". The net gave off a soft blue glow and Casey started to sweat, trying to think of what to do only making himself panic more.

For several minutes he tried kicking out of, and tearing the strange blue netting but it only grew tighter to where it hurt. This made Casey panic even more, but all he could think of was to wait for someone. Casey didn't have his phone with him and even if he did there was no way he could grab it from his back pocket. The netting had tightened due to his struggling and Casey felt very fatigued. If that wasn't bad enough the sun started to set. Casey tried, once more, to call out for help. It didn't seem like anyone was coming today. His throat started to feel dry and sore from the yelling (all the cigaretes probably didn't help either). In fact his whole body felt sore and tired, similar to when he'd pull all-nighters and couldn't keep his eyes open any longer.  Even his mind felt disoriented, had he been drugged with something in the netting? He thought surely someone would have to come find him soon enough though.

Someome did come, just not who he thought would come.
