Casey's POV
I barely began to wake up as a sharp beeping noise threatened my ears. It felt like I was fading in and out of consciousness until I had remembered where I was. Pain shot throughout my body inside and out as I coughed spitting out blood, the metallic taste in my mouth making me feel sick. Before I had been knocked out I had been sure I was going to die, despite all odds it definitely felt like I was alive though, and in all the worst ways too. I would have thought the new pain would distract me from my throat being bone dry and my hunger, but I could feel all of it at once.
I tried to push myself up despite my body's protests but was quickly stopped. Above me several metal beams and other debris were bent and collapsed, from how close they were it looked as if the beams definitely would have crushed me had they fallen any further down then they already had. I was lucky I was alive, or was it unlucky to be alive at this point? With a groan I tried moving downward instead but that didn't seem like an option either, there was debris stopping me from every direction and one of my feet was tangled in some sort of cable.
That's it, I was going to die, and I didn't even get the privilege of dying in the crash. The universe apparently wanted me to suffer and die slowly much to my dismay, and right after I finaly got a fresh start and a new house. It wasn't fair, I was supposed to be having a fresh start right now, not trying to guess if I'll die of dehydration, hunger, or blood loss first. I choked up sobs of anger and other emotions I'm not as glad to admit to that I'd been holding in since I'd woken up in that stupid clear cage, slamming my fist downwards. Only for the sharp metal to slice part of my hand, I winced and yelled out in frustration. I felt completely useless. "IT ISN'T FUCKING FAIR" it felt so frustrating that I could only cry out into the air, no one would even know I had gone missing. I cried to myself grinding my teeth wondering if anything else had survived the crash. Were the animals that had been on the ship with me felt like this too, or maybe they had regrets like me? Were they even capable of those thoughts? Even if they weren't one thing was certain, they definitely felt the same physical pain as me if they had survived the crash. I felt myself giving up as I laid limply, sobbing to myself. I felt so alone, I was never that close with anyone but I still didn't think I'd die like this, completely alone.
I heard a loud creak as the space I was in was flooded with daylight. The warmth from the sun met my skin as I weakly lifted my head. Something had moved the metal above me, oh God not another Alien. I can't even die in peace. I tried to get a look at the Alien and was surprised to not see a mass of tentacles approaching me. This Alien looked different, and at least closer to a human in some anatomy. The Alien stood around 10 feet tall, looking even taller from the position I was trapped in. A large dragon-like tail laid behind it and its snow colored skin looked almost glittery in the light. Two swirly horns sat atop of its head as it blinked it's one pair too many of eyes at me. It wasn't human by any means, but at least it was a lot prettier of a sight compared to the aliens from before. I was snapped out of my thoughts as the Alien began to reach for me, my heart stopped as I wasnt sure what to do. Was this alien involved with the ones that had kidnapped me? Did it want to eat me or something? Or maybe it was a good Alien, if there were good ones at least. The Alien freed me from the wreckage and pulled me closer. I tried kicking the monster away from me and swug at it but I couldn't reach anything but it's arms. I screamed as I was thrown into the air only to be caught by the creature's thick tail, the scales felt hard but smooth against my skin as the tail wrapped around me. The tail confined my arms and legs before I could react and my kicks and punches did absolutely nothing, I could barely even squirm under the tail's mass. It didn't hurt by any means, but I was still unable to move besides my head, out of options I sunk my teeth into the aliens tail. Though it felt slightly demeaning to bite something like an animal, it was really the only thing I could do in the situation with every other limb trapped in the aliens tail, and also a lot better of a plan than being killed by the Alien.
