It had been a few days since the two crazy idiots had left the island as as Dracule Mihawk stared out of his large and frosted up window that looked out to the rest of the island, sipping his fine wine as he sat on his cold throne like seat with his sword sitting next to him, Mihawk wondered what he had ever done wrong to the heavens to ruin his life like this.  He wondered everyday without a exception what he had done wrong and why his life has gone so wrong and off track, this was not the life that his elder sister and Shanks had planned together.

This island that now was so broken, gloomy, black, polluted and just looked like a complete nightmare had believe it or not had been like a fairy-tale land. It had once been an island full of blossoming sakura trees that always bloomed the most beautiful and wonderous flowers in the whole of the grandline at the year round.

The air that know dripped off of danger, gloom and darkness had been so fresh, sweet and so refreshing that whenever Mihawk would sniff the air a smile with spread across his face, which wasn't such an easy thing to do.

The grass that no longer seemed to be existing any longer except weeds here and there, had once covered every hill and every part of the island, the grass had been so ever green as green as anything could get, so fresh, so soft and so gentle to the skin and their baby boy that had once rolled around in the grass.

Those copying ugly monkeys that now roamed around his island terrifying whoever came around and trying to copy him and everyone they deemed strong, had never been there in the past seven years. In fact no dangerous animal had set foot on sight of the island, in the beginning bunnies, tigers and other harmless basic animals had roamed around, all avoiding a certain area, which happened to be their castle.

Speaking of their castle, now it stood so lonely, cold, haunted and far too big for him alone, the place that now only had the ring of silence in it and the occasional sips of wine and moving of his boots and books was not supposed to be like that. The castle walls was supposed to be his older sister's and his nephew's little castle they could enjoy the rest of their lives in , it was supposed to hung of the first pictures that their nephew drew, the pictures of his first walk, his beautiful older sister (who that red haired idiot stole)'s picture and a family photo of him, his sister and nephew.

The castle had been created to have thousands of different rooms and mazes that twisted and turned filled with different and treasures that him had collected over the years on the sea to make sure that home was never a boring place for his nephew. It was created so he could support and work together with his nephew ( after all his sister was going to be tired once in a while, he would swoop in ), if he ever had a school project or wanted to do something, even if it didn't involve being a sword man like him or his sister was or even a being a pirate. Mihawk was prepared to do everything for his nephew.. the son of the most precious and only family member that stayed besides his side.

The only picture that hung on his wall was a large picture of a family photo when Sebastian had been two, an adorable, chubby, cheerful and lovely toddler who had toddled everywhere and scared the shit out of his sister that the next day they had to baby proof everything, and Shanks and his sister holding the grinning child, while he was besides his sister grinning.
Mihawk still remembered the fluffy red hair and his sister's eyes that the child possessed, and how they would brighten up with happiness and joy every now and them warming up his heart.

" Dracule D Sebastian... " Mihawk whispered, " Where are you my darling nephew."
Tears streamed down his face with no warning, which he didn't bother to wipe off and let it drip to the floor. He hunched back from his seat, and he cried... a silent yet suffocated cry as he whole body shook.
Why? Why did it hurt so much.... Leona...
