Short Chapter
(I didn't know how to write this one but here it is.
The reason it's so short is because not much actually happened with Y/N.
ENJOY!)

Wednesday was getting stuff organised for staking out the cave.

"I'm coming Eugene!" Wednesday looked toward the door at a knock.

"Hey did you have to grab any extra batteries for the flash.. Tyler." Wednesday opened the door to find Tyler in a suit.

"I got your invite. Guessing you had Thing drop it in the tip jar?" Tyler held up the invitation.

"Good guess." Wednesday stared at the invitation.

"After our last conversation, I wasn't sure I'd even get to speak to you again, but..well your note was so genuine and..sweet. Totally took me by surprise." Tyler smiled.

"Me too." Wednesday stared in shock and disbelief.

"Well, now that I'm here, I'm glad I came. You need a few minutes?" Tyler looked at Wednesday confused.

Wednesday shut the door immediately and looked toward Thing and Y/N.

"Genuine and sweet? How could you do this to me?" Wednesday sent them a glare, looking through her clothes.

"You made me try on dresses." Y/N smirked.

"You don't even like Tyler." Wednesday retorted with a glare.

"Keep your enemies closer." Y/N nodded to Thing.

Thing snapped his fingers, pointing to the bed. Wednesday walked over stunned, the dress from the shop was laying out on the bed.

"How'd you pay for it? Five finger discount, of course." Wednesday looked at Thing.

"Thing don't look. Y/N get your dress. You're suffering with me." Wednesday picked up the dress and Y/N smiled.

"You look ridiculous." Y/N looked at Wednesday.

"You look even more ridiculous. Do my hair?" Wednesday turned to look at Y/N who nodded.

Wednesday and Y/N walked down the stairs together where Tyler was waiting.

"Wow, you look.." Tyler trailed in awe.

"Unrecognisable? Ridiculous? A classic example of female objectification for the male gaze?" Wednesday prompted as Y/N rolled her eyes at Tyler.

"Amazing. I mean it, Wednesday. You look beautiful." Tyler interrupted.

"Eugene." Wednesday turned to Eugene as he walked over.

"Wednesday, what's going on? What happened to staking out the cave? Sure, I get it. Guess I'll check out the woods myself." Eugene had a confused expression.

"Don't go alone. It's too dangerous. Stand down. We'll go together tomorrow night, understood?" Wednesday looked at Eugene firmly and he gave a nod.

"Staking out a cave?" Tyler followed Wednesday inside.

Y/N followed Wednesday's gaze to Ajax, Xavier and Bianca.
Xavier was looking right at Y/N. Wednesday looked at Y/N shocked.

"He can see you." Wednesday whispered to Y/N.

Wednesday looked at Y/N, she was looking over at Xavier, Y/N pulled Wednesday forward and Tyler followed.

"Wednesday Addams. What a lovely surprise." Thornhill clasped her hands together.

"Ms Thornhill. This is Tyler.." Wednesday looked at Tyler.

"Galpin." Thornhill looked at Tyler.

"Uh, yeah. Double cap, no foam, two pumps of sugar free vanilla." Tyler smiled remembering her order.

"I don't trust...whatever this is." Y/N walked away.

"It's a small town. It's hard to keep secrets." Thornhill smiled at the two.

"I'm going to get us some drinks." Wednesday followed after Y/N

"OMG! I love the looks! Interesting choice of date though." Enid looked over at Tyler.

"I could say the same." Wednesday looked at Lucas.

"It's not what it looks like." Enid defended herself.

"Good, because that Pilgrim already has two strikes in my book." Wednesday turned to Enid.

"Lucas is trying to make his ex jealous. I'm trying to make Ajax jealous. It's a win win." Enid beamed as Lucas came over.

"Wednesday, I come in peace." Lucas raised his hands in surrender.

"That's a shame. I brought my pocket mace. The mediaeval kind." Wednesday stared at him.

Y/N grabbed a drink for herself as Wednesday grabbed two, they turned around only to become face to face with Xavier.

"Can't believe you brought him." Xavier looked over at Tyler.

"Why are you bringing this up? As if this dance weren't tedious enough." Wednesday glanced around.

"You don't know what he did to me." Xavier didn't look at Y/N.

"Enlighten me." Wednesday looked at Xavier.

Xavier talked about how Tyler and his friends broke his mural last year on Outreach Day and Wednesday walked off.

"Y/N." Xavier turned his attention to her.

"You're just seeing things. You're delusional." Y/N walked away from Xavier.

Y/N walked past Tyler and Wednesday, she made her way to Eugene's room, to check in on him.
Y/N picked the lock but Eugene wasn't inside.

"Damn it, Eugene." Y/N breathed before running down the stairs and out of the school.

Y/N grabbed a branch as she heard Eugene scream. Y/N could hear Wednesday somewhere in the woods, she was also looking for Eugene.

Y/N found Eugene and the monster before Wednesday. The monster went to finish Eugene off but Y/N gripped the branch and whacked the monster in the back.
The monster snarled, it turned away from the unconscious Eugene, to the floating branch.
Y/N chucked the branch away and the monster ran after it.

"Good dog." Y/N fell to Eugene's side as Wednesday ran over.

"Oh my God." Thornhill ran over to them.

Wednesday looked up at Thornhill.

"Is he alive?" Thornhill looked at Eugene in fear.

"This is my fault." Wednesday looked at Y/N alarmed.

Y/N looked up at Wednesday, Wednesday put her hand on Y/N's, trying to comfort her in some way.

I don't understand how she could possibly think this was her fault.
I'm the reason Eugene even got involved. If anyone is to blame it's the monster.
