"At least it's turning into a beautiful day." Morticia smirked as she looked up at the sky through the window.
Wednesday and Y/N turned to look at the school, as it came into sight.
"What is this? Barbie's dream house?"
*Inside Principal Weems Office*
"Wednesday is certainly a unique name. I'm guessing it was the day you were born?" Principal Weems smiled as if she was so smart.
"I guess I'd be Wednesday too, then." Y/N was sitting on the desk, rolling her eyes.
"I was born on Friday the 13th." Wednesday dismissed, her hands folded in her lap, as she sat up straight, her gaze piercingly sharp.
"Her name comes from a line from my favourite nursery rhyme, 'Wednesday's child is full of woe.'" Morticia spoke keenly, she was obsessed with that nursery rhyme.
Y/N noticed tears in Wednesday's eyes as her Mother explained the origin of her name.
"You always had a unique perspective on the world, Morticia. Did your Mother tell you we were roommates back in the day?" Principal Weems didn't seem to like Morticia much at all. Oh, well.
"And you graduated with your sanity intact? Impressive." Wednesday tilted her head slightly, a habit she'd picked up from Y/N.
Y/N chuckled manically as Morticia gave Wednesday a look.
"You've certainly had a very interesting educational journey. Eight schools in five years." Principal Weems looked at Wednesday and her parents as Gomez held back a proud smile.
"Schools are weak."
"They haven't built one strong enough to hold me. I bet this place won't be any different." Wednesday's tone was stone cold.
"I believe, what our daughter is trying to say is that she greatly appreciates the opportunity." Gomez intervened, sparing Wednesday a look.
"An opportunity to destroy the school." Wednesday his a smirk at her sister's words.
"Nevermore doesn't usually accept students mid-term, but given Wednesday's perfect grades and your family's long history with the school, I've spoken with the board and we've made an exception." Y/N decided Weems must have had a crush on Gomez as a kid, based on the words coming from her mouth.
Gomez and Morticia looked at each other relieved, as Wednesday stared in Y/N's direction, and Y/N stared back.
"Larissa, what about Wednesday's, um...therapy sessions? The court ordered them." Morticia glanced at Wednesday as if she would murder them all there and then.
"More people to break and traumatize."
"The school has a relationship with a therapist in Jericho. She can meet twice a week." Weems spoke highly of this therapist in Jericho.
"Did you hear that, my little storm cloud? You're in excellent hands." Gomez smiled as he leaned forward to speak to Wednesday who hadn't moved an inch.
"We'll see if she survives the first session." Wednesday kept her gaze on Weems.
"I've assigned you, to your Mother's old dorm. Ophelia Hall." Weems looked at Morticia.
Morticia leaned forward as she gasped excitedly at the name of the dorm room.
"Refresh my memory. Ophelia's the one who kills herself after being driven mad by her family, correct?" Wednesday turned to her Mother, and Morticia nodded fondly.
Wednesday turned back to Weems who had a smug, taunting smile plastered on her face.
"Should we go meet your new roommate?" Weems grinned widely as if it were the best thing in the world.
