The next day I woke up early because of Tsireya and I's promise to pick up the newcomers on our way to breakfast.

We walked to their home and saw that their parents had already woken up. The mother stood up and went to wake up her kids. All of them came out of their room, still half asleep. Me and Tsireya greeted them with a "good morning".

We went to the 'meal room'. The children had their own table. We sat down."So today we will test how good of a swimmer you are. Oh and I almost forgot, what are your names" Tsireya spoke."I'm Tuk, that is Neteyam, that's Lo'ak and this is Kirri" she said. "I'm Tsireya, that is Ao'nung and this is Neomi" she introduced us. We talked for a bunch of time and ate all of the food that was on our table.

After that, we went to the beach. Me and Tsireya immediately dove in the sea. Ao'nung was next, followed by Neteyam, Lo'ak, Kirri and Tuk. We swam past the corals and sea animals.
"Let's go visit the Ilus" I signed to everyone.

In that moment Neteyam looked at Lo'ak weirdly and the two boys swam to the surface. Tuk saw them and did the same. "What are they doing?" I signed to Tsireya. "They don't know how to breathe." She signed back to me. Ao'nung, Tsireya and me swam after them.

When we reached the surface Neteyam said "we don't speak this finger talk, we don't know what you're saying." Ao'nung laughed at the boy and Tsireya smacked his head. "We will teach you" I said while making eye contact with Neteyam. "I think it's best if we go back and do some breathing exercises." We all agreed and went back to the beach.

But I felt like we were missing something, a someone actually. Kirri, I quickly turned around and dove right back in the water. I saw Kirri riding an Ilu. I made a bond one of my own and joined her. Afterwards, she ran out of her breath and we both swam up to get some air.

"How'd you do it" I asked her. "Did what" she said out of her breath. "You stayed under water for a very long time for someone who has never dove before" I asked her curiously. "I don't know I just forgot to breathe." she simply explained. How strange, I said to myself.

In the same moment, Kirri noticed someone was swimming towards us. Tuk, she was a pretty fast swimmer, I'm not going to lie. "Wow sister is riding an animal" she said, all surprised. "Do you want to feed it" I asked her already knowing the answer. "Yes yes yes" she said already being excited. We all swam back to the beach and saw others doing breathing exercises. Tsireya had her hand on Lo'ak's stomach, I saw how nervous he was. For that reason, Neteyam was chuckling at him.

I broke the bond with my Ilu and went to get food. In the meantime, Neteyam and Lo'al were asking so many questions about how Kirri was able to bond with it already and how was she able to stay under water for such a long period of time.

When I came back, Tuk was already petting Maanami. I showed her how she's supposed to feed her correctly and Tuk imitated every movement of mine. Ilu had her meal, as I was about to take back the leftovers I ran into Kirri. "Hey Kirri I was wondering if you maybe wanted to go on a late night walk with me, today" I questioned her. "Of course, after dinner?" She said and I nodded. Great, that's just great.

I went home, where Ao'nung and Tsireya were already having a talk. "So you and Lo'ak?" I joined their conversation while giving Tsireya a smirk. "It's nothing" she said all blushed up. "Right right" i said as I left them alone and went to feed Faakhir and Maaran.

I'm surprised that they live in harmony, I thought Faakhir would eat him. Guess I was wrong after all. While I was feeding them, Ea decided to pay us a visit. I gave her some of the food. I never feed her, that's because she hunts the food for herself on her own. I let her do her thing.

It was getting pretty late so I went back home to eat dinner with others. At the table, we talked about all types of things. I noticed Ao'nung eyeing Kirri all the time.

After dinner, me and Kirri went straight to the beach. "So was there a particular reason you wanted to see me tonight or not" she asked me with a tone of sadness in her voice. "I just wanted to get to know, since you and me are the only one who can connect with Eywa" I explained to her. "Oh yeah, so when did you first do it" she said making the conversation flow smoothly. "About a year ago. You?"

We talked for a while, about Eywa and the bond. She connected with Eywa about a month or two ago, when she was visiting their tree of ancestors. She said she had some kind of an attack afterwards.

She also told me that she's adopted. Her mother was human, and she was one of the many scientists that the sky people brought with them to Pandora. How she got pregnant is a total mystery.

I told Kirri about my life here, and the animals, and Eywa. We came to the conclusion that Eywa feels a bit different here than she did at the forest land. Kirri explained how after the connection with Eywa she thought there was something wrong with her.

Me and Kirri noticed that we had a lot in common. She told me about her family. She said that Neteyam is the oldest brother and the most protective. However Lo'ak, he was a mind of his own. Kirri also said how she feels sorry for Lo'ak because he's treated like the disappointment of the family. I knew how he felt. I once was treated like him too, but my parents changed and let's hope his do too. Kirri also mentioned Tuk and said that she's the light in their family. She's always so happy and excited to be alive. Despite the fact that she was homesick, she still tried to enjoy it here. I respect that.

I showed Kirri one of my animals. Ea, she's a Kari. These species are very dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. Althought Ea was friendly, Kirri was still a little bit scared, but she didn't want to admit it.

We heard someone call our Kirri's name. It was Neteyam. She was not lying when she said he was the most protective sibling in the family. Kirri ran back to their home and I followed her. "We should defined do that more often" she said with a smile on her face. "Definitely" I agreed with her. We went separate ways and by the time I got home, everyone was already asleeep. I went to my bed and thought about everything for a bit, then my eyes were too heavy so I fell asleep.

Author's note:
I hate this so much, you don't even know. It's so boring but I promise it'll get better soon. Don't worry, endgame is still Neteyam, not Kirri.
