PART 4

Because of my tiredness, I slept through breakfast. No one wanted to wake me up and for that reason I was yelled at by my parents, yet again.

"Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and you missed it." She said a little bit disappointed in me. I apologised to her and she said "never again, okay" I nodded my head softly.

I got up and ran to the beach, where my friends were already training. Everyone seemed to be occupied and for that reason I chose not to teach today. Instead, I'm going to get everything ready and plan what I'm going to show Tuk.

I walked into the forest, where I saw Faakhir and Ea playing together. I grabbed some food on my way to the forest so later on, Tuk will have the opportunity to feed them. I wanted to show Tuk every animal that I have. Moreover, I wanted to take her on a ride with Faakhir and show her Kaali.

It was still so early, so I went for a ride with Kaali to visit Takot and see how he's doing. I walked past the group of Na'vi's who were currently training. All of them saw the giant creature that came out of the water. I positioned myself on her and made the bond and in the next moment we were already under the water, swimming as fast as we could.

Takot has his habitat far away from our land, somewhere where he's safe and unseen. When we arrived, I saw him swimming around with other sea animals, having a fun time. He saw me and swam straight towards me. I greeted him and he made a whale-like noise. I told him everything that had happened and he did the same.

He informed me that our spirit sisters and brothers are coming. In my opinion, that's the best day of the whole year. When we talk to our spirit sisters about our problems and some of the news. I have a spirit sister and I'm curious about what she has to say when they visit us.

We said goodbye and me and Kaali were on our way home. It was a nice and peaceful ride. We saw the prettiest coral reef. It was yellow with shades of blue and green, some parts of it were this colour between red and orange. So many fish were swimming around it, I can tell why.

When we finally got to our beach, we saw that the training had already finished. As I was going to lunch, I ran into Tsireya and Lo'ak. "Hey you two, are you coming on lunch or..?" I asked raising an eyebrow at them. "Yes, but we will be late because Lo'ak wanted me to teach him more about the sea. Don't wait for us!" She said looking me straight into the eyes. That makes me think that she's lying, I was probably right.

I got to the 'meal space' and saw the group already sitting, waiting for others to arrive. "Tsireya told me her an Lo'ak are going to be late and to not wait for them." I said sitting down. I could feel Neteyam's eyes on me, it made me feel some type of way. We ate all of the food that was on our table. The whole time, me and Neteyam were giving quick glances to each other. "So, in the next training, we will try to bond you with Ilus." Ao'nung said, breaking the silence.

"What if I already bonded with one" Kirri asked him. "You'll help us teach or show your siblings how it's done." I said looking at her with a smirk-ish smile.

After lunch, I looked for Tuk but I couldn't find her. I ran into someone, Neteyam. "Oh hey Neteyam, have you seen Tuk anywhere?" I asked him. I'm not going to lie, I felt a little bit nervous, he made me feel nervous. It has never happened to me before. "Oh yeah she was just here, waiting for you by that tree" he said with his perfect accent, pointing at the palm tree that was planted behind a fountain. "Thank you" I said while a smile was spreading across my face. I know we could both feel the tension between us.

I walked over to the palm tree and saw Tuk, leaning against it. "You ready?" I asked her and she grabbed my hand and said "yes". I led her into the forest, where Faakhir and Ea were already waiting for us. When Tuk saw Faakhir on one of the many trees in the forest, she hid behind me.

"It's okay, he won't hurt you" I said, tying to calm her down. After I said that she slowly showed herself to the big animal. I signed Faakhir to come down slowly and he did. I grabbed Tuk's small hand and pet the giant black dragon with it. "

After some time of petting Faakhir, Tuk became more comfortable with him. "Do you want to feed him" I asked her and she immediately said yes. I grabbed the basket with food in it, that I had put behind the tree earlier that day. I put it next to Tuk and she grabbed one of the fish that was in it.

"What now?" She asked me, not knowing how to feed Faakhir. "Throw the fish in the air" I instructed her. She threw the fish in the air and Faakhir caught it with his mouth. She fed him the rest of the fish that were in the basket, and when she was finished, I called Ea.

She ran towards us and Tuk screamed, not knowing she was one of my pets too. I chuckled at her sudden movement. "Tuk, this is Ea, my Kari." I said petting her on her back. Tuk went from scared to friendly when I introduced her. "But we don't have any food for her" she remembered. "Ea is a good hunter. She hunts the food on her own." I explained not wanting Tuk to feel guilty.

"So, if you want to, we can go on a ride with Faakhir to one of my favourite islands here." She nodded, I could tell that she was excited.

I placed Tuk on Faakhir and jumped on him afterwards. I made the bond and commended him to take us to the island. He did as told and after a quick period of time we landed on the beach of the island. Because it was getting dark, everything glowed. "You know, I see the way Neteyam looks at you" she said out of the blue. I bit the inside of my cheek to prevent me from smiling. However, the blush gave me out. "So how do you like it here" I said, quickly changing the subject.

She told me, she enjoyed the people and the land here. She noticed that Neteyam and Lo'ak were acting a bit weird, especially Lo'ak. Hah, I wonder why.

After some time we flew back to our land and landed in the forest. "Today was amazing Neomi. Thank you so much" she said. "My pleasure" I answered her with a big smile.

"Tuk! Tuk! Where are you!?" Someone said. I recognised the accent and the voice from earlier. It was Neteyam, he was looking for Tuk. "Coming brother" she said, grabbing my hand and running out of the forest.

We met with Neteyam in front of the forest. "Netty, Neomi showed me around. It's so beautiful here." She said all excited and happy. He smiled at me and said "thank you, Neomi" he said giving me a smirk after he said my name. He took Tuk's hand and they both walked towards their home.
