"Okay, dinner's over. Goodnight." I said as I quickly ran to my house and effortlessly plopped onto my comfortable bed. I'm exhausted of everyone constantly reminding me about this stupid test. It's actually getting on my nerves.

A noise of someone stepping into my room woke me up from my thoughts. Then suddenly, I heard someone call out my name. It was a male voice with an accent, which I would recognise anywhere. Neteyam, he offered to go on a late night walk with me. You can assume what my answer was.

We walked along the beach and talked. Talking, it's the simplest thing ever yet, if you do it with the right person, it can be a way of bonding. It can be the key to becoming something more than 'just friends'.

"How'd I do?" I asked, referring to the challenge that happened earlier the same day. "I could've done it better." he said cockily. He was always so confident in himself, I adore people like that. "How about we try to ride Ilus. To prepare you for tomorrow's training." I suggested with a plan behind my smiling face.

I called our Ilus and they came to us in no time. We both jumped on them and made the bond as soon as we were enough comfortable. We visited our tree of ancestors. If Pandora wasn't already the most beautiful planet in daylight, it most definitely was at night.

"Our spirit sisters will come and visit us tomorrow, and you and Tuk are going with me." I informed him. "What, when and where. Why hasn't anyone told me this yet?! When do we meet, do I have to bring something with me?!" Neteyam started to panick. "You'll find out everything tomorrow." I tried to calm him down, it was working pretty well.

We swam back to the beach. It was pretty late by the time we got there. We sat by the beach, looking over the sea, which seems to not have an end. I was looking at the calm water of Pandora while I felt Neteyam's eyes burning into my skin. I looked at him and he was dreamily watching my every move.

"How'd I do?" Neteyam asked me about the Ilu riding. "I could've done it better." I said with a forced smile and a wink. He scoffed at my words. I looked back at the water and I could still feel his gaze on me.

"What are you doing." I asked, sounding almost like a whisper. "Just looking." Neteyam answered tilting his head a little. I thought I heard someone yell my name and quickly stood up. Neteyam did the same and now we were both standing, facing each other. Neteyam moved closer to me, we were a few in hues away from each other and I could almost feel his breath.

He wanted to move closer but I panicked and moved away. I looked down at my feet, embarrassed to face Neteyam at the moment. My face was red and I had a million thoughts raving through my head. I slowly looked up to see Neteyam already looking at me, smirking. He definitely liked seeing me nervous. I hated it, I hated the power he had over me.

"Nervous?" he asked, acting dumb. "Never." I said, moving closer to him, our lips were almost touching but I moved away and walked past him. He scoffed to himself and licked his lips, all while turning around after me. "I'm going to get you back for that." Neteyam said grabbing my hand and yanking me backwards, close to his body.

"Neteyam!! Where have you bee- What's going on?" Lo'ak asked confused and surprised. I moved away from Neteyam and looked at Lo'ak with a blush on my face. "Nothing, I was just teaching Neteyam how to properly ride an Ilu." I explained, laughing awkwardly. "Yeah, right. Let's go bro, mom is worried about you." Lo'ak said, he turned around and started to run towards their home.

"Goodnight Neomi." Neteyam said while nodding his head a little. What the hell happened. I walked home and jumped on my bed. I sat there, thinking about the previous events that had happened between me and the newcomer. I can't believe they were real.

I went to sleep after almost an hour of thinking about that boy and what we did.
