The Wolff against the Bull

Chapter 14

Emma POV:

We started to unpack the car as my mom almost ran outside to great us. She was a bit dramatic, but also the funniest and most caring person I knew. "OH MY DARLINGS! I've missed you so much" She half screamed as she closing the gap to us. She gave Amanda a big, warm mom hug. She then proceeded to give me one hug. Her hugs were a typical mom hug. It felt nice nice being back and geting to see her and to hug her. Lucas got a big hug as well before she started to help us carry in the luggage we had.

Their house was a very warm house. Morden yet cosy. I did really enjoy coming here, it felt like I became much more calm. It felt comfortable. I'd suppose it was because this was the house I was born and raised in. It was a safe place for me.

As we stepped inside the smell of my dads homemade meals filled my nose. It smelled amazing. It smelled like he had grilled a nice pice of meat. If I knew my dad well enough he had also made some homemade French fries and a sallad with mozzarella and avocado in it. It was what he always made when we got home for dinner.

"Darling, the kids are here! Get your ass over here." My mom screamed at my dad as we took our shoes off. Amanda, Lucas and me all giggled as she shouted that to dad. "I'm coming" He shouted back.

We manage to get inside before dad had the chance to come to the hallway. I was the first one in his arms, giving him a long hug. I really missed him. He was my role model and we were really close with each other. He was someone I always could call and just talk to with out being judged. It was a special bond we had.

"Hi sweetheart. I missed you. How have you been?" He asked as he held me tight in his arms. "I missed you so much too. Im good, it feels so nice being back home with all of you" I said. We pulled away from each other to let Amanda and Lucas great dad as well.

"Go and sit at the table, foods almost ready. Wine is on the table. Pour some wine up for yourself and mom and I will be out with the food in a minute." Dad announced when we all had said hi to each other. We made out way to the table as mom and dad disappeared in to the kitchen. Mom had set the table very nicely and it was two bottles of red wine on the table. We took our normal seats and Lucas poured wine for the three of us.

I recognized the label on the wine bottle as one of dads favorite. I didn't know much about wine but I did enjoy that bottle. It didn't take long before they came out with the food. It smelled amazing, as his food always did, and it looked really yummy. Lucas poured some wine for both mom and dad.

"Dig in" my dad announced, and we all did. We all seemed very hungry and we all started to eat like we hadn't seen food in days. Dinner was amazing and Amanda and Lucas told our parents about the house they made an offer on. They were of course very happy for them. We all were.

The evening flew away and soon enough we were all too tired to stay awake any longer. We decided it was time for bed. Before we went up, we cleared the table. It was boring to do that in the morning. The moment my head touched the pillow in my bed, in the room I grew up in, I feel a sleep.

Christmas morning came and I woke up and, once again, the house smelled amazing. I spent a few minutes in bed, just enjoying it being Christmas and having a sleep in. I knew that the day was gonna be cozy and fun. We always started the day with a long brunch and some presents. I guess that was what smelled so amazing.

I decided to get up and see if it really was the brunch that smelled so good. I got my hair up in a lazy ponytail and changed in to my Christmas-day PJ. I took my phone and went out of my room. I could hear the voices from downstairs, realizing I was the last one waking up. As I made my way downstairs, the smell of coffee filled my nose.

"Morning sunshine! How nice of you to finally join us. We been waiting for you!" My dad said as I made my way in to the kitchen. I could see my mom rolling her eyes at my fathers comment. "Good morning to you too. Sorry for enjoying being home" I said as I gave him a wink and smiled.

"Coffee?" I heard Lucas ask. "Oh, yes please" I said and he started to pour it in to one of the cups and then filled it up with some milk before he handed it to me. He knew I still enjoyed my coffee with milk.

The table was filled with breakfast food, it was everything from pancakes to eggs and bacon. I sat down and we started to eat. After everyone had their first round of food, it was time to open presents while we ate a second round. First Amanda, Lucas and I gave each other our presents before we gave our presents to our parents and they gave theirs to us.

As I was gonna take my second cup of coffee, I notice that I took the last of it. "You guys want me to put on some more coffee? It's nice to have while we open the presents." I asked. Everyone said yes so I got up and went to the coffee machine. While I put on the coffee, Amanda and my dad brought all of our presents to the table.

I didn't know why but my heart skipped an extra beat as I read the text. We always sent each other texts like this om holidays and birthdays. This year it made me feel special that he though off me on a day like this. I knew it wasn't special or different from other years, but this year my feeling where out of control. Gosh, it was not good.

Me: Merry Christmas to you too. Hope your day is magical as well.

It was a short but simple text back to him. I then turned my attention back to my family who had divided the presents to each and every person in the room. This year was no different. Amanda, Lucas and me started to open each others presents before we moved on to our parents and they opened ours. 

A/N: Not a long chapter today, but promise you that it will be a new chapter out before the weekend. My plan is to post 1-2 chapters a week and I know its a bit slow, but that's the way I want it to be. Its gonna start becoming more sexual in the few next chapters. So hope you don't mind that.
