Chapter 22 - Friends and dates

Emma pov:

I could hear Gaby make her way through the door. "On the couch" I said as she made her way in. She sat the boxes with the food down on the coffee table that was infront of the couch. I stood up and gave her a hug. We haven't seen each other for a while and I missed her. "I've miss you" I told her as I was hugging her. "I miss you too" she told me. "Are you excited for New York?" I asked her, as I knew Red Bull were gonna have there launch there. I was actually curious on their car. I hoped it sucked, so we could have a chance against them this season. It'd feel nice to be able to fight for the championship again.

"Yeah I love New York, but Americans! They're so annoying and loud. I hope I don't have to interact with any American too much" She replied and gave me a smile. I couldn't blame her, Americans had a tendency to be loud and a bit annoying sometimes. Her comment made me chuckle a bit.

Gaby couldn't wait to hear the gossip and said "Spill the tea! I wanna know everything" I laughed at her. "Shouldn't we wait for Lewis?" "Fuck Lewis, tell me now" Gaby said, and just in that moment we could hear my door open and Lewis entered. We burst out laughing at the timing of Lewis entering the exact moment of Gaby saying fuck Lewis. Lewis was looking a bit lost when he came in to the living room and saw us almost laying on the floor from laughter. "Whats so funny? What did I miss?" He asked confused. After laughing hysterically for a few minutes we cooled down and told him. He didn't find it as funny as us but in all honesty, it actually wasn't that funny.

"I'm hungry. I wanna eat" Lewis stated and we decided to dig in. "Now you have to spill the tea" Gaby said when we settled in and started to eat. "Okey, Lewis already know this but I have a crush on Toto" I started off by saying, waiting to see Gabys reaction. She rolled her eyes at me and said "Who hasn't? Every girl on the paddock is secretly a crush on him"

I took a deep breath and started talking. "Well, yesterday something happened. We were working late and we ended up being the only ones left in the office. One thing lead to an other and we had sex" I could see that the jaw on both of them dropped. Lewis already knew about my crush but I guess he didn't expect something to happen between us this soon. "WHAT?" Gaby screamed, and I wouldn't be surprised if the neighbors would could come knocking and wondering what was going on. "Haha, will you scream a bit louder?" I jokingly said.

"Okay. We need you to tell us everything and from the beginning" Lewis said and took a sip from his wine. And thats what I did. I told them about the flirting and the text. I told them about the moments where the sexual tension was high. Then I told them about how he had fucked me at his desk.

"I am never gonna able to sit at that desk talking to Toto, knowing he have made you cum right were I'm sitting" Lewis laughed when he said that. Me and Gaby joined him in his laughter. Most people would probably not wanna sit at that desk if they knew what their boss had done on it. I knew that it wasn't gonna be the last time he fucks me there. "Maybe you should join next time" I said in a flirty voice to Lewis. "Oh you wish, we both know how much I could make you cum. "Euw, thats gross. I think I'm gonna throw up" Gaby told us with a disgusted face. We were once again laughing. Since Lewis and mine one night stand a few years ago we usually joke about it and about doing it again but it was not something we'd actually do. He was a great guy and funny and all but he was just not my type. In all honesty, I wasn't his type neither. It was a one time thing and we were drunk.

Time flew and they ended up staying late. Later then I expected but it was nice. We talked a lot and Gaby told Lewis and me about how things were going with Bono. They had met up several times since new years and it seemed like they were gonna try to see where things were heading. Both me and Lewis were happy for her. She deserves to be happy. I was hoping that Lewis would find someone soon as well. Around midnight Lewis and Gaby left and I was doing the dishes before I went to bed.

The next morning I woke up feeling well rested. It was around 9 o'clock and I should probably get ready for work. Toto didn't really care when I came to the office, as long as I got the job done. It was only in few occasions he wanted me at the office on certain times. As far as I knew, it wouldn't be too much media focus on us the coming days as Red bull had their car launch. I made my way out of the bed and took a shower and shaved. After getting dressed in a pair of black suit pants and a big oversized green sweater it was time to eat some breakfast. I made some coffee and some oatmeal.

I sat down to eat and notice my phone alerting me I had a new notification. I was surprised to see that it was a notification that Christian Horner had started to follow me on instagram. I opened the app, and scrolled through his feed. It wasn't something extraordinary, just a lot of pictures from the season, just like my own feed was filled up with. I decided to follow him back. I notice myself having a smile on my face which wasn't good. Why would I be smiling over him following me on instagram? I soon after received a text from Christian.

Christian: I'd prefer you in a Red Bull shirt ;)

I knew he was referring to my Instagram feed being filled with pictures of me in my Mercedes clothing, and thats why he wrote the text. I was quick to reply.

Me: Really? I though you preferred me naked ;)

I did enjoy playing the flirting game and it could be fun to have someone entertain me. The attention was always nice and Christian was someone I fancy a bit. The sex had been amazing and he was funny and handsome. So why not see were it leads? Every thing with Toto had to be a secret and I knew that if I wouldn't go out and date, it'd eat me up to be his misstress. I could see myself falling for Toto, so I needed to keep my feelings away from our situationship. So I needed to entertain my feelings with something else. Having the two most powerful men in the formula one at the same time was a dangerous game. To make things worse, they hated each other. But isn't that what makes it even more fun and exciting?

Christian: That I do. Are you free tonight? ;)

Me: Yeah, why?

Christian: Wanna come by for a glas of wine?

Me: Don't you have a flight to New York to catch tomorrow?

Christian: I'm packed and ready.

Me: Okey, at what time?

Christian: 8 pm?

Me: I'll be there. I might steal one of your Red Bull shirt though ;)

Christian: Completely fine by me babe :*

Me: See you at 8 pm ;)

I realized that time flew and I should hurry to get to work. I had a big smile on my face as I left my apartment. I suppose you could say I have a date tonight and I was excited it was with Christian.
