a few months later

I haven't been single in years.

The past few months have been really nice without Conor but it's very hard being single after being in a long term relationship where your boyfriend decided everything you did.

Most people would think it's nice- The 'freedom' of being away from him and it is but a part of me feels lost, confused, and scared.

In this part few months I've felt more alone then ever.

I've just been going through the motions, going to classes, doing my schoolwork, going to my parents house for dinner every weekend, cleaning my dorm, hanging out with Aurora.

Nothing is fun and when it is I'm always wondering when the fun is going to stop and I'm going to be sad again.

Pansy has been hanging out with Draco more. I don't think they're dating but I get so jealous.

I don't even know what I'm jealous about, guys have flirted with me, guys have asked me out but I just make up and excuse or ignore them.

I have zero motivation to do anything, I hate having to get up and go to class. I'm just really tired.

I'm laying in bed looking at some of my schoolwork when Pansy steps out of the bathroom.

I try not to look at her but my eyes zone out on her legs.

I look away and back to my schoolwork in front of me while she walks around the room in a towel.

I focus too hard on my schoolwork and after a few minutes I look up and see pansy sitting on her bed in a gorgeous red bra and underwear set. I swallowed hard.

Pansy rubbed lotion onto her legs.

"Hot date?" I asked, my voice coming out weak.

Pansy looked up from her leg, her eyebrows furrowed. "No, this is all for me. A little self care to help me feel better." Pansy said.

"Why do you need to feel better?" I asked her, normally I wouldn't ask her questions like this but it just came out.

"Some stupid guy." Pansy scoffed, "He said he could too better than me after I rejected him." Pansy laughed, "Men are so fucking stupid." She tried to hide behind a laugh but I could tell what he said effected her.

"You're right. Men are stupid, You shouldn't think too much about what he said." I told her, looking back at my work and tying to get the sight of her legs out of my head.

"How are you doing? With the breakup?" Pansy asked me.

"I'm fine. I don't miss him." I said with my head still down.

"Good you shouldn't, he was a fucking dick." Pansy said, her voice filled with disgust.

I didn't say anything.

"You coming to the party tonight?" She asked me.

"What party?"

"It's just in the common room, nothing special." Pansy said.

"I'm not sure, I don't really party much." I whispered.

"You should." Pansy moved her eyes down my body.

"I have a lot of schoolwork to do." I told Aurora as she tried to hand me a dress to wear to the party.
