I rushed to my locker and then out of the school building altogether. I caught up with the one and only Kendall just as she was turning a corner, heading towards to exit of the school along with many other anxious students. "Hey, Kendall! Wait for me!" I jogged up to the side of a grinning Kendall. "After dance tonight, would you like to have a sleepover at my house? My mom said that I could have you over." "That sounds great!" Kendall chimed. "I haven't had a sleepover in ages." So then it was settled, my mom would pick Kendall and I up from dance and go straight to my house as Jill will have dropped her overnight clothes before. We sorted all of this out by text on the way home.

I eagerly glided over to the lustrous entrance of the Abby Lee Dance Company. I progressed the front desk and headed into the den. "Hi, Maddie!" My group of friends reiterated. "Hello!" I replied happily. "Girls! Enough chit-chat! We have wok to do!" Miss Abby popped her head round the door and gestures us into Studio A. All of us followed. Throughout the whole ballet lesson, my Bro and I whispered to each other about the letters we've been getting from our pen pals. "Well," she started, but Gianna cut her off. "Miss Vertes, do you have something you'd like to share with the class?" "No, Miss Gianna." "Then please stop chatting. Your parents pay for ballet training, not to talk to your friends." Kendall nodded silently and resumed to her pliés at the barre. When all of the dancers acquired a water break, that was when we really opened up to talk. "Katherine Davies isn't a very good pen pal. She seems really stuck up and snobby," Kendall laughed nervously. "How's it going, writing to Zack?" I thought for a minute before answering. Should I tell my bestie that I very much enjoyed being his pen pal, that I enjoyed it more than anyone else? No, too risky. "It's alright, nothing special." Kendall gave me a knowing look. I shrugged and said, "What...?" Then all original seven of us were hollered at to return to the studio for more practice.
That night, after the sweating and hard work of dance class, she came over to my house for the sleepover where we played lots of games such as Would You Rather, Charades and Snap. The night went on from games to movies and movies to pillow fights. I love my best friend so much.
