"Ms. Yeon is calling everyone to go over their cases" Secretary Park knocked on our door
The three of us went out to go to the meeting room
"Before we begin the briefing, let's give around of applause to Attorney Lee, the hope and gem of our law firm for successfully winning the Im Yun Hee case" Ms. Yeon said and all of them clapped their hands
"That's enough everyone, thank you" I told them feeling a little but embarrassed
That's so unnecessary!
"There's no reason to be embarrassed. Although, that's what makes you charming" she told me and laughed patting my shoulders
"Then let's get on with the briefing" she said after seeing me with a blank face
"Our law firm is taking on the Sangji-dong case. Since it's a big case, Attorney Lee will brief us and we'll share idea" she said and I stood up and headed where the projector is
"Before I begin, let me show you the defendant's photo"
I showed them the photo and started the discussing. Few hours had already passed and I prepared myself for leaving. I don't have too many serious cases right now, that's why I'll be home on time today, luckily tomorrow is weekend, I'll be able to rest more
I saw my secretary getting ready to leave "oh You're leaving early, Attorney Lee! By the way, I'll head home" she said and I just nodded
"Why are you leaving so early Attorney Lee?" Attorney Park asked me
"I don't have heavy cases right now, so" I told him. He immediately stood up and took his coat
"Do you want to have dinner with me?" He asked scratching his nape
"Sure" I answered him casually and he smiled
He took me to a steak restaurant and we were currently waiting for the food to be served
"Attorney Lee" He called me
"Jimin" I called his name
"Just call me Yun Seo when we're outside" I told him
I think we should call eachother's first name when we're outside the work, it's too formal
"O-okay...I want to tell you-" He was about to say something when a voice interrupted us
"Yun Seo?"
It was Se Won
"Hi, what are you doing here?" He asked
"We're here to eat obviously" I told him nonchalantly
"Come on, Yun Seo. Drop the attitude" Se Won laughed and he turned to see Jimin
"You're Attorney Park right?" He said patting his shoulders
"Yes, nice to see you again" He responded
"Yun Seo" Se Won said giving me a teasing look "you didn't tell you already have a boyfriend"
I immediately shook my head "He's not, Jimin is just my co-worker" I told him but he couldn't stop smiling
I swear if scratching away that playful smirk on his face wasn't a crime, I would definitely do it without any hesitation
"If you say so then, I'll leave you two here. Enjoy your date" He didn't let me reply and walked out
"I'm sorry, Se Won is pretty crazy sometimes" I told him althiugh I think he's born crazy to be honest
"What are you saying?" I asked about earlier when his sentence was cut off
