Almost an hour later, we're pulled apart and dragged to the table to cut the cake.

I grab the knife, and Spencer puts his hand over mine. He can't see my face because he's behind me. Mom is videoing this.

After we cut it, I cut another piece, and then, after hesitating, I grab a huge chunk with my hand, whip around, and smash it into his face.

He wipes off his eyes, and then slowly opens them.

I draw a smiley face on his cheek, and then kiss his other one. He kisses the cake off of my lips, and then he grabs a handful, and crushes it onto my face.

I gasp and grab another handful.

"You're gonna pay for that."

He grins, and shoots right past me.

People are smiling and videoing this.

He runs around, grinning.

And then his foot catches a chair and he crashes to the ground.

I gasp, dropping down next to him.

"Are you okay?" I ask.

He grunts.

"I will be after you kiss me." he says.

"Mmm." I shake my head.

He sits up.

"You don't trust me." he says.

I crush the rest of the cake into his cheek.

He gasps and grabs my face and kisses me, and then stands up. He sticks his hand down to me. I grab it. He pulls me halfway up and then legs go. I start to fall, but he shoots down and wraps his arms around my middle and slowly pulls me up.

Everyone gets their cake, and Spencer and I just sit down and swipe the cake off of each others cheeks.

"I love you." I say.

"I love you too." he smiles.

I let the twins eat some icing off of my finger.

"I'm done." Spencer says.

"Me too." I say. I kiss him. "I'm going to wash my face, and your daughters.

I pick up Olivia.

"I'll wash mine and Daniel's." he says.

I nod and walk to the bathroom.

I need to pee so badly. I wash my face and hands, and then Olivia's. Emily walks in. She holds her while I pee, and then I come out and wash my hands, pick up Olivia, and leave.

When I sit down, Spencer is back.

A women with blond hair walks in. She's skinny and really, really pretty.

Spencer narrows his eyes, and then recognition fills them. He gasps, kisses me, and then gets up and sprints over to her, pulling her into a giant hug.

He hugs her and then holds her at arms length and sizes her up. The girl does the same, and then she asks him something, smiling. I look down at Daniel.

I'm not jealous. I don't know the girl, I know Spencer wouldn't do anything, and I'm married to him.

Whoever she is, he chose me.

Mrs. Key comes and takes the twins.

"Your husband wants you." she smiles.

I stand up and walk over to Spencer.

He grabs my hand.

"Natalie, remember my cousin I haven't seen since I was fifteen? I was saying how I missed her? Well, this is her. Kara, this is my wife, Natalie."

"How lovely it is to finally meet you!" she has a thick British accent. I smile, shaking her outstretched hand.

"You too! I've heard loads about you!" I smile.

"I have heard so much about you as well. Turns out Spencer loves to talk. You're his favorite subject. Every time we talk it's all about you! How sweet!" she smiles.

"Aw!" I smile, looking at Spencer.

His cheeks are red.

Later, everyone is crowded around a light blue Volkswagen bus. The doors are open. I don't know what it's for.

Spencer's hand links with mine.

"Ready to go, love?" he asks.

I frown.

"What are we taking?"

He pats the blue Volkswagen. I look it up and down.

"We're taking this?" I ask.

"Yes. I bought it. We own it. Ready?" he tugs my hand.

"I have to say goodbye first!" I say, taking Olivia and Daniel from Mrs. Key.

I hold them close, kissing their faces.

It's going to be hard leaving them. It was so hard letting them stay with Spencer for a week, but I knew they were safe with Spencer.

They're not going to be with Spencer.

I take a deep breath and kiss them again. Spencer says goodbye to them, and then after I kiss them like, twenty more times, I hand them back and hug everyone else goodbye.

Spencer hugs everyone else goodbye and then opens the passenger door and waits. I turn to him. He kisses me, and then I climb into the bus. He kisses my cheek and then shuts the door.

He goes around and gets in the drivers side.

He shuts the door and starts the bus. I put on my seatbelt. He leans across my lap, his hand on my thigh. He opens the console in front of me and grabs a world map.

"You navigate, I drive." he says.

"Can't we use GPS?" I laugh.

"No." he says, kissing me softly. "We're going to lose cell reception."

"But what about the kids?" I ask.

"They're with my Mom, love. She raised me and Jeremy, remember? They'll be just fine."

I nod.

"Now, follow the yellow highlighter."
