We stood there for hours taking photos, and then Spencer practically dragged me off of the beach to his car.
Everyone tried to warn us that we're going to be late because we'll have sex in the back of his car.
I assured them that we wouldn't, that we would be good.
We're in the car now, and Spencer is holding onto my hand. Every time he gets the chance, he looks at me.
I don't know where we're going.
"So," he begins. "Would you be upset about leaving the kids for about two weeks or so?"
"That's depends." I say. "Who would they be staying with?"
"My Mother and Father." he says, kissing my hand.
"I mean, I would really, really miss them." I say. "But yeah, I guess that would be okay. Why?"
"Well, I mean, I don't know what you know about newlyweds, but last time I checked, Love, we're supposed to go on our honeymoon."
We're in the parking lot.
I look at him. He puts the car in park and shuts it off, turning to me.
"We're going on a honeymoon?" I ask.
"Yes." he says.
"To where?" I ask. He gets out and comes around to open my door.
"That's a surprise, love."
"But I didn't pack!"
"But Olivia and Emily and Caitlyn packed for you."
I groan.
"They probably packed skimpy outfits." I pout.
He pauses with his hand on the doorknob to a beautiful building on the beach in Los Angeles.
"I don't find a problem with that."
I blush wildly, and his grin widens. He leans in and gives me a slow, loving kiss.
When he pulls away, I don't mention sex, even though it's expected on our wedding night, I don't want it if he doesn't.
He leans in and kisses me again.
"I'm ready." he says.
"Okay. So lets go inside."
He smiles. "I'm not talking about that, my love."
"Then what are you talking about?" I ask.
"What happens on a wedding night?" he asks.
"The couple has sex. But Spencer, I know you aren't ready yet, and that's okay. I'll wait for eternity."
He smiles. "I love you, but I am ready."
"I'm confused." I say.
Truthfully, I know exactly what he's saying, I just want to hear him say it so I know for sure.
"You don't have to wait for eternity. We can make love whenever we want."
"Even right now?" I ask.
Honestly, I'm messing with him, but he nods.
"Okay. Let's go back to he car..." he starts to head that way, but I grab his hand.
"I'm kidding." I say.
"Oh." he frowns. "I thought you were serious." he says. I lean against the white wall of the gorgeous building.
He places his lips against mine for a moment, and then sighs, content.
"You're so blinding." he says.
