Even though the action was small, the impact was huge for this hellscape. Souls were still running rampant and were fighting against the realm's guardians. Demons and devils alike were chasing after ghostly figures with weapons and rage. The scorching temperatures were actually beginning to subside as if hell was freezing over and losing its control.
Not to mention, Sabrina wasn't helping whatsoever.
While the group, led by a thin sheet of ice and Jackson skating across it, Sabrina was flying around and beating down evil spirits that looked at her wrong. Between her claws cracking against their jaws and the wind-breaking snaps caused by her spiked tail, the weak red beings weren't going to survive. Her wings, while she was rocky with them, gave her a good speed that kept up with the group, even with her stopping every now and again to reek more chaos. Something compelled her to fight like hell, like something inside of her was crawling its way out.
Thanks to Kameron's extreme voltage, their path was lit throughout the venture of the cave. It was long and dark, but as long as no one said anything or looked anywhere but Kameron's staff, they would be fine.
However, there wasn't anything to be scared of. To their surprise, the cave was silent other than the zaps of currents and the sheathing of ice. Nothing interrupted them through the twisting tunnel from one side to another. The cave however did open up to what seemed to be like an unfinished jailhouse, with a large dome carved out of the stone surrounding them. It was well-lit with fiery lanterns, and had the radius of soccer field.
"...what the hell..?" Kolton questioned, jumping off of the icy path as he looked around.
Suddenly the room began to shake as shards of rock and rubble began to fall from the ceiling to the ground. The heroes began spinning, trying to find the source of the quake when the tunnel abruptly collapsed. In the center of the dome, rock began to rise in a circular shape before falling away in chunks. A platform rose, holding four figures- so far away that it was hard to make out was there.
"Enough with the goddamn show!" Sabrina roared as a low chuckle rang out from the center platform. "Give up and let our people go!" She demanded, summoning her staff in her clawed hand and thrusting it into the ground.
A flash of light beamed from the center towards Sabrina, and suddenly she was launched into the rubble that used to be a tunnel. Her dragon form instantly recoiled, and she collapsed into the rock. All that remained of her existence was her staff she dropped, and a small rock the size of a softball.
"No," London growled, horrified. "She got to them."
"Got to who?" Aspen questioned, summoning her glitter shield just as a laser blasted into it. The beam reflected and shot to the ceiling, but it still left the shield charred and smoking. "WHAT the hell is going on!?"
"Noah is all wires and motherboards, how could she?" Kolton objected."
"He must of been reset and reprogrammed. That doesn't save his father from being tricked." London reminded him before stretching out his own vines, trying to create armor.
"It's so easy to be calm when you can't think." Serenity cooed, her voice echoing throughout the dome as she talked loud and confident.
Beside her was a drowsy Harmony, Maverick, who looked blank and emotionless, and Noah, who's eyes were a cold, unnatural white.
Sabrina coughed and choked as Kameron pulled her from the rocky crater, dusting off her armor. "Four against six... not much of an advantage anymore."
"And planning outside your head...that an advantage too?" Serenity poked.
"I beat you once, I'll beat you again." Sabrina growled. "I remember you."
