"Everything." She whispered, biting her lower lip nervously. "I truly didn't mean to. I know that was supposed to be a private conversation between you and the people you're in a relationship with... and I sincerely apologise for not making it known I was there so they didn't spill anything with me in the room." She rambled, twiddling her thumbs anxiously. It was a habit she had failed to break since moving to Tokyo.
"You're okay. I'm not upset. I thought you might be, though."
"Why would I be upset?"
"People tend to get their panties in a bunch when they find out the three of us are all collectively dating each other."
"Ah. You don't have to worry about that with me. As long as the three of you are happy, who am I to judge you?" She smiled at Khalin, a feeling of relief flooding through her.
"Thanks. I appreciate tha-"
"So. Turns out K-" Niragi stopped short upon entering unannounced, staring at Khalin.
"Well that was quick." She raised a brow. Kuina elbowed her gently in the side.
"Yesn't. Aguni is going to test you in five days time." Chishiya spoke from behind the tall, psychotic man.
"Well, then. Is there anywhere specific that I can train myself?" She asked, folding her hands behind her back. A habit for when she was nervous and wanted to appear tougher than she was.
"Mhm. I'll take you there myself tomorrow. However, I need to speak with Chishiya and Kuina at the bar tonight. You should probably get some rest." Niragi answered.
"I was planning on going for a swim. You guys have fun, though. Can I count on you to meet me at the elevator after breakfast?"
"Sure."
"That means he'll be ten minutes late, but doesn't want to admit it to himself." Chishiya cuts in. She only laughed, patting Niragi on the shoulder.
"Don't worry too much. Time management isn't really my thing either." And with that, she swiftly left the trio behind, focused on getting to the pool.

The water felt lovely on her feet. After that game earlier in the evening, she definitely needed to let her feet rest. The pool was the perfect place to do so. She gazed down into the water, watching her black painted toe nails wiggle in the water due to the ripples of everyone else. She let out a small sigh, shifting her gaze to the crowd of people enjoying themselves while they can. Then, as if on instinct, she raised her gaze up into the dark sky. She watched the stars twinkle in the darkness. She felt a sudden sharp pain in her back, wincing at the feeling. Just as it had appeared, it was gone again. It was as if she hadn't felt it at all.
But that wasn't the only thing she felt in that moment. She felt heat against her cheek. Like a burning piece of metal had been pressed against her cheek running along her cheekbone and all the way to her hairline. Just as the pain in her back had gone away, this sensation did too.
Feeling a little freaked out about what she had witnessed, she stood up from the edge of the pool, her wet feet splashing sanatised water onto the concrete. She turned and bumped into someone."S-Sorry." She muttered under her breath.
As she was about to leave, a hand reached out and grabbed her arm, keeping her still."Khalin?" A familiar voice spoke. "It's me, Arisu."
"Oh. Hey. Where's Karube and Chota? I thought they were going to go to a game with you?"
"They survived the first one. Karube and I survived the second one, but then they didn't make it on the third one." She froze, furrowing her eyebrows with confusion.
