The Aurora

In the dark place Kali was trapped in, he currently was trying to hit the invisible wall with all he could. He groaned as he wasn't making progress. He sits down with a sigh and wipes the sweat from his brow.

His crimson eyes seemed to glow in the darkness in silence for a few minutes, before he suddenly heard a roaring sound in the distance that sounded like it was coming closer.

Kali stands up, ready to fight the possible threat. He tries to look around in the darkness, as if trying to sense the presence.

Suddenly, a woman with dark hair and sunset eyes stood before him. She smiled at him, before holding out her open palm to reveal a different necklace that had a tooth of a healing dragon.

The woman then spoke in an older, mature sounding female voice.

"Take this with you. Kali... it is time you knew of your origins.... You aren't just a Shadow Demon. You are half demon and half dragon. Use this to escape this banishment. You are no longer safe here," at that moment, the roaring sound was much louder and closer.

Kali slowly takes the necklace from her, confused.

"I never did know my mother.... ," he looks back to the woman as she began to glow and shift into a beautiful orange and black dragon.
He watches as the spirit of the dragon goes to fight with an evil spirit that was a threat to his life.

He grips the tooth in his hand and suddenly his palm lights up green and not far in the distance he saw a door. He suddenly runs full speed towards it and opens the door. He steps out into bright light that he has to shield his eyes at first. Before he knew it, he was in the woods not far from the Mansion that Katy's father owns.

Kali was suddenly able to shift to his demon form and he shadow teleports to the mansion, then walks inside.

"Katy?" He looks around and spots a gryphon with blue on his ends walk up to him. He looks down at him, he was about the size of a border collie breed.
"Hmmm you aren't her, but.... ,"he slowly reaches a hand out and gently pets Kenzo.

Kenzo leaned into it and chirped, closing his cerulean eyes.

Kali smiles," There, there, we're a calm gryphon, aren't we?" He glances around the living room and pauses when he sees Katy had stopped in the threshold, holding a tea pot.

Kali stands up straight and smiles," I told ya I'd come back to you, Princess," he grins at her.

Katy sets the tea pot down on the table beside her and runs over to Kali, throwing her arms around him in a tight hug.

Kali hugs her back as he gently kisses the top of her head as he heard her let out a held back sob.

"You're really here.... ," she looks up at him and smiles.

Kali," If you think this is a dream, you're wrong," he leans down and kisses her, closing his eyes. She kissed him back, only pulling away after Kenzo chirps for her attention.

Katy looks down at him and smiles," Kenzo, this is Kali. He's very special to me," she looks back up at Kali," Kenzo is my familiar..... he's one of the eggs my father created."

Kali looked confused for a moment then," Wasn't he making dodo birds or something? How in the Devildom did he get a gryphon?"

Katy then goes on to explain what happened, including the possession of her father.

Kali nods in understanding," I see... so how is he?" He looks down at her with gentle crimson eyes.

Katy takes his left hand in her's," Come and see for yourself," she smiles and leads him to her father's study.
