"Nevermore was created as a safe haven for our children, to learn and to grow, no matter who or what they are." Weems announced to uproarious applause.

Luke felt nothing, practically numb from the hair down, Eugene, one of his only friends had been attacked by the monster, he hadn't seen Leighton since that night either, so he was well and truly on his own.

"I realise most of you have heard about the unfortunate incident involving one of our students. But I'm happy to report Eugene is on the mend and is expected to make a full recovery. So lets make this parents weekend the very best yet." Weems happily reported to once again rounds of applause.

Luke felt sick to his stomach, he couldn't bare the fact Weems had the gall to lie straight to everyone's faces, he scratched his neck once again, it was a habit he did when he was nervous, but has since been doing it whenever he so much as thinks about Eugene.

It didn't help it was parents weekend either, a constant reminder of his mistakes and torture of even seeing Wednesday with her parents, he just wanted to hide in his room until it was all over, and he heavily considered doing so.

"Your parents a now show this year?...oh right" He heard Xavier joke from behind him. Luke tried his best to ignore him, but Xavier stood directly in front of him.

"Y'know, I think its karma, you deserve to see all these happy families when your the reasons yours fell apart" Xavier said with his arms crossed.

"Please...just go away" Luke mumbled feebly, he didn't want to make a mistake he'd regret in the future.

"Or what? You gonna light me on fire too?" Xavier coaxed, Luke stared up at him.

He was about to regret this.

"Its not that kind of head shrinking mon cheri" Morticia Addams told her husband.

Wednesday and her parents were discussing her recent behaviour since joining the school with Principle Weems, they were in the comfort of her office, where no one would interrupt them, until they were all alerted to a knock at the door.

"Come in!" Weems called out, the door opened and Luke stepped in.

Luke's hands were slightly shaking, his lip twitching and his face covered in dried blood and a small bruise on his lower cheek. His blazer was also gone as he was holding it behind his back.

"Luke? what happened to you?" Weems asked worried.

"I'd like to request a new blazer please...if its not too much trouble" Luke said, his voice slightly shaky.

"What happened to your old one?" Weems asked, Luke held up his blazer and showed everyone there that it was covered in blood.

"Oh my...are you alright?" Weems said worried as Wednesday and her parents stared at the boy, Luke made brief eye contact with Wednesday before answering.

"I'm fine..." He trailed off.

"I'll put in an order...I'll also inform the teachers" Weems said as Luke nodded and turned to the door.

"Expect to see Xavier some time soon" Luke said. "...If he can still walk" 

Luke didn't have anything better to do than visit Eugene, he didn't have any parents to spend any time with so this was the next best thing, he'd put off visiting him since the incident, however he was shocked to see Leighton standing in the hospital room.
