On March 2nd 2003 I was born in Tokyo, Japan. My parents named me Y/N  and I'm Japanese. I can speak both Korean and Japanese fluently. I was always told that I have big ,round and beautiful brown eyes. I think I'm not that special that others see me as. I have always been a kind, shy and calm person that cares about others. It's been 12 years and people say that I'm even more beautiful now that I've grown up. It's August 12th and I am sitting in my room studying and suddenly I hear heavy footsteps coming upstairs. I look at the door and see as the door opens. It was my mother. She closed the door and sat next to me. She put her hands on her thighs. ''Mom what–''

''Sweetheart, there is something you have to know. Me and your father have been planning this for a long time.'' I felt my breathing get heavier. My mother shed a tear and held my small hands. I didn't know what to do or how to react. I knew directly that it was about my father.

''I know that you miss your father and we have decided to not split up anymore.''

My mom's eyes got watery as my heart was beating faster. I felt like someone hit me with a stone in my stomach. I started sweating and my body was very warm. My father lived overseas because of work. He rarely came back and only Facetimed us once or twice in 3 months to see how we were doing. Last time he came back home to Japan was 3 years ago. I was 15 at that time and always believed his lies saying he'll come back at least once a month. He works in South Korea and my Father used to teach me Korean when I was in middle school.

''What do you mean by that? Mom don't tell me we'll–''

''I'm doing what's good for us all.''

''Have you told Jiro yet?'' I ask. Jiro is my 21-year old brother.

My mom made a confused face and sighed. ''No''she said. I knew that my mom doesn't care since Jiro never cared about anything but hanging out with his friends Yamato and Kaito. The same moment I hear footsteps walking towards the closed door. Jiro knocks on the door and calls me. I stood up and mom let my hands off. I open the door and Jiro walks in. He noticed my watery eyes and hugged me immediately. He closed the door and we told him what's going on. After an hour talking mom got a facetime incoming call from Dad. ''Answer it'' I say. Mom looked me in my eyes and slowly picked up the phone and slid the green button on her phone to answer. As I hear fathers voice I feel warm and calm. ''Have you–'' my dads starts but then mom interrupts him and says ''We're currently packed. We'll be there tomorrow morning.''I look at my mom with my shocked eyes. She smiles at me and continues talking with dad. She acts like it is no big deal. Jiro grabs my hand and helps me to get up. We leave the room and start packing. I overheard dad telling mom that he promised to make time for our family when we're in Seoul. I open my wardrobe and start throwing my clothes in the luggage. The room beside mine is Jiro's. He walks in my room every minute and throws hoodies he doesn't use anymore. He holds up a cyan hoodie that has an animated dog sleeping. ''Wear this the day you feel down'' he says. He throws it at me and leaves the room again. I pick it up and throw it in my luggage. When i'm done packing I'm trying to find my sneakers under my bed but I instead found a picture. It was me and my father holding a big fish together. It was a picture from when I was 11. He haven't been fishing since that day because he's always busy. I gently put the picture in a small safe pocket in my luggage. I close my luggage and walk out of my room to put it downstairs. Next morning I woke up and slowly felt as I opened my eyes. I slept really bad last night. The sun was shining bright in my eyes. I covered the sun with my small hands above my  head. I  stood up, did my bed and put on slippers. I opened the door and walked down the stairs. The house felt like someone else's today just because we are leaving for good. I don't really have any friends in my school so I have no one to say goodbye to.
