I went to the kitchen and saw my mom preparing breakfast. ''Goodmorning sweetheart, I made some pancakes for you before we leave.''

''When is our flight?'' ''Our flight is at 9am hurry, we're heading out soon.'' I run upstairs, put on clothes and eat breakfast. As soon as I got done I brushed my teeth and packed my pajamas,slippers and toothbrush in my luggage. I walk downstairs with my full heavy luggage seeing Jiro laughing at me. I ignore him and walk downstairs. As we walk downstairs to the garage we see mom putting her luggage in the back of the car. She sees us as we walk towards her. ''Give me the luggage'' she says to Jiro. Jiro passes it to mom as I head inside the car. I overheard their conversation.

''Mom, are you sure this is a good idea?'' Jiro asks. ''Jiro, I'm sure it is '' I look down at my white sneakers. Jiro opens the car door on the other side and sits next to me. Mom enters the car and starts it without a word. I look at the house as we slowly drive away. I watch as we drive past our house and neighbors. I couldn't really accept the fact that we're leaving the house that I grew up in. The pink cherry blossom trees are everywhere. I will rarely see them in Korea. Everyday when I went out to play with my friends I always hugged the tree and when I came back I waved to it. After a long drive we're finally at the airport. Mom parks the car and opens the back car door. I open the door and step out of it. When I take the first step I feel the wind blowing in my face and close the door. My mom and Jiro take the luggages and head straight to the inside. We walk inside the airport and head straight to our line and wait for the passport controller. We stand in a line and it's our turn. I give her my passport as my mom takes Jiros and gives it to the passport controller. ''Welcome in, have a nice flight'' she says. We bow to her and continue towards the plane. It has South Korea's flag on it and it says ''Korean Air'' We walk straight towards the plane and watch as the stairs get down for us to enter it. I walk fast towards the airplane to catch up as I hear Jiro call me to wait up. The flight attendants are warmly welcoming me in korean. ''Annyeonghaseyo hwangyeonghada'' which means hello, welcome. I walk in the long empty corridors and find our seats. I'm struggling to get my luggage up the shelf as Jiro picks it up and helps me. ''Do you want to sit in the middle or next to the window?'' He asks. I sit next to the window without saying a word. He helps mom pick her luggage up. Mom sits down and we wait for the passengers to sit. After a while, a flight attendant makes an announcement. ''Hello and welcome all our passengers here! We will start the plane soon, make sure to have your seat belt on and put any of your devices on flight mode! Thank you for your attention please.'' I sigh as a flight attendant walks by looking at our seatbelts checking if every passenger has their seatbelt on. After a while the plane starts. I feel as my seat starts shaking. We will be in South Korea in 3 hours. I feel as my eyes start to close and my head hurts really bad. I suddenly fall asleep in silence and peace. I woke up due to the shaking of my seat. I slowly open my eyes as I look around me. I see the ground and buildings on my left but see Jiro to my right. As soon as I wake up the flight attendant makes another announcement. ''My dear passengers we've landed safely and will now go off the plane have a wonderful day''she says. I see as the passengers stand up to get off. We open up our seat belts and turn off the flight mode on our devices. My mom and Jiro stand up and take the luggages as I stand up right after them. They leave with the luggages as I follow them. ''Be careful with the stairs'' mom says. I look around as I go down the plane stairs. I hear people talking in Korean and only korean. We walk towards the building and I smell different kind of smell. I guess every country has a different fragrance. In Japan it smelled like cherries and here it smells like fresh strawberries. When we're inside we go straight to the out way and take a cab. ''Where is this family going?'' He asks. ''Seoul please'' mom says. He nods and starts driving as we put our seatbelts on.
