Him and I

Butterflies...

He opens the door and lets my hand go. We both sit down staring at each other then looking away as Miss Eun calls my name."Y/N, please read page 14 for me." I stutter as i glance at Jeong-Hoon. I look away and start reading page 14 out loud in korean. After the bell rang the girl from the garden came up to me as she lightly tapped on my shoulder. "Did you have a good sleep?" she asks. "Mhm...is class over?". She nods and watches me as i pack up and we leave together. She was very friendly and talkative which made me feel comfortable. We leave the school building as someone caught my eye. It was Jeong-Hoon with his classmates. We make eye contact as i walk pass him and the warm air brushes off my perfume. "What is your name by the way?" I ask the girl. "Shin Ji-Yeon" she responds as i feel a hand on my back. I turn around and make eye contact with Jeong-Hoon. "Ya, you're so fast, next time wait up. We should walk home together." I look at Ji-Yeon as her eyes got big and she smiled. "It's okay i'm taking the other way anyways, see you tomorrow in school" ,she says as she walks away. I instantly start walking as Jeong-Hoon catches up. "You're good in disappearing all the time." I say as i continue walking. "You were asleep and I didn't want to bother you." I glance at him as scort out a laugh. "Wanna eat jjajangmyeon?" he says. I roll my eyes and give an excuse to not go. He says nothing and just stares into my eyes. "Fine, i'll go." I say as he smiles. We order jjajangmyeon and choose a table. When we finish the food, we leave as we bow and thank for the food. We sit on a bench near the Banpo bridge. "Did someone ever tell you that your eyes are beautiful?" he says. I freeze and stutter. "Yeah." He giggles and looks away. He walks me home and stop next to my house. "Before we split up could you give me your number?" I look up at him as he hands me his phone and I write in my number. I nod and enter my house as he continues walking. I take a cold shower and get to bed. Next morning I get to school and enter the classroom. Ji-Yeon take a seat next to mine as she smiles at me. "What?" I ask. "Ohhh you know exactly what" She says as she smirks and looks at Jeong-Hoon when he entered the classroom. I roll my eyes. "Nothing happened." She looks away and giggles. Months pass by and it is getting better. But now, I think i might like Jeong-Hoon. I'm graduating high school today and I feel so stressed. My friends told me that he likes me but it doesnt seem like it. I walk in my classroom wearing my graduating unifrom just like others. "Okay students, thank you for these beautiful and amazing years. Today is your last day, so let's all go out and pick up our grades." I pick up my grades and we all throw our graduating hats up in the air.  Jeong-Hoon is standing right beside me. Later I go for a drink with my friend group including Jeong-Hoon. We sit for hours drinking until one of them says. "Ya! Let's go to a karaoke!" We decided to go to one. While they still were packing up barely being ale to stand on 2 legs I got out first and stood next to the building. As i hear the door open I see Jeong-Hoon coming out. I think Jeong-Hoon was the only sober. I smile at him as I push him slightly to the wall. "We're adults now for real" I say. He takes a few steps forward as I keep taking a step back. I stop as I feel the wall behind me and he's really close. I can't seem to get my words out. He comes closer and closer as I hear our friends scream and see us. They stare at us and laugh. "Ya! Lovey dovey couple let's go now!" I take his hand and walk with him and our friends to the karaoke. We scream,shout and sing all drunk. I finally sit down taking a rest as Jeong-Hoon leans over me and whisper something to my ear.  "Could we go out and talk for a bit?" I smile and nod as he grabs my hand and leads me out. "Whoooo lovey dovey couple is leaving!". "What's wrong?" I ask. "Y/N actually...aish" He comes closer again slowly as he looks me in the eyes and lips. He then lays his lips on mine and gently lays his hand on my cheek. I feel as my stomach is filled with butterflies swirling around. He lives in an apartment next to the karaoke bar.
