Toby made his way up the bleachers trying to find a less crowded spot.

This was brooks last game of the season and he wanted to come in support of his.. friend.

The two hadn't seen each other much after winter break had ended. There hasn't been any new assignments yet for the boys to have to study and-

"Oh god isn't that the guy who said that bullshit about Brooks" "Remember that guy who was beat up for spreading lies?" "Ew he's the homo?"

And not to mention what everyone was saying. Toby couldn't go anywhere without someone saying something about it and he was sure people had talked to Brooks about it.

But for some reason it seemed as though no one was taking about Brooks going after the guys who attacked Toby.

-

After the game Toby saw Brooks looking around for someone. He made his way down the busy bleachers which was easy because everyone moved out his way so they could gossip to one another.

Once Toby made his way to Brooks he was quickly pushed by people.

His teammates congratulated him, the teammates that he supposedly beat up. And a couple girls asked where'd he be this weekend.

Toby and brooks made eye contact. But it seem as though brooks made no attempt to come to Toby.

Toby cursed at himself as he stormed away. He hated this feeling the most. Jealousy. Or maybe it was betrayal.

-

"What." Toby yelled as his face was in his pillow.

"Can I come in?" Rita asked in a sheepish voice.

Toby got up and attempted to collect himself as he opened the door.

"Sure what's up."

"You tell me what's up. I mean that boy Brooks was he for nearly your whole winter break and now I never see him around."

"Because he was only here to take care of me. And look-" Toby lifted his shirt showing his slightly bruised skin "I'm all healed up so there's no reason why he'd be here."

"But you said he was the reason you stayed out of trouble. Your still being a good boy right? I haven't gotten any calls from the office.."

"Yeah.. but-" the downstairs bell rang.

"I have a customer, we'll talk later alright? And remember to study!" Rita said as she left.

Toby plopped back down on his bed.  It was the weekend and he needed something to do to distract himself. He threw on a hoodie and open his door.

"Oh, Hi Tobias"
