Toby paused for a moment as the two stared into each others eyes. But then remembered just earlier that the two had done the same but Brooks ignored him.
So Toby shoved past brooks which wasn't that easy due to the fact he took up the whole door frame.
"Tobias wait-"
"Fuck off brooks!" Toby yelled as he made his way down the stairs. He grew slightly embarrassed as he saw the people in the restaurant all look up in his direction.
He gave them an awkward smile and then crept his way back up the stairs.
"What Brooks, what could you possibly want?"
"I just-"
"Now you want to talk to me? Weird because you didn't seem to want to talk to me earlier."
"What are you talking about?"
"I went to your game brooks.. you saw me. But you just" Toby felt his eyes begin to burn with tears. "You just ignored me."
Toby shoved past brooks who had a shocked look on his face and went back in his room.
He attempted to shut his door but brooks held it open.
"Let go."
"No I want to talk-"
"Damnit Brooks's l-let go!" Toby said as he felt the damn break and his tears run down his face.
Toby gave up and stormed over to his bed.
Brooks quitely shut the door and sat next to Toby but in response Toby scooted away.
"Listen Tobias I-"
"I get it if you don't want to be seen with me. I heard what the others were talking about and I don't really care" Toby said but his tears said otherwise. "But you didn't have to lie about beating up those guys. I saw you talking with them.."
Brooks realized tobys miss interpretation. "Tobias my teammates weren't the ones who hurt you."
Toby eyes widened with confusion.
"I don't even really know the guys who went after you. It was a group of guys and the 'leader' was tall and had black hair and glasses.."
"Kyle."
"Who?"
"Do you remember the first day we met?"
"In the classroom?"
"No Brooks, it was the day I got suspended. I was leaving the school while you were coming in. I was suspended for beating up Kyle."
"I don't even know him I'm not sure why he'd go after you for me.."
"He probably just wanted a reason to beat me up.."
"Well whoever that Kyle guy is he sure looked funny when I smashed his head into the ground."
Toby laughed but stopped when he remembered he's supposed to be mad at Brooks.
"About what you said earlier, Tobias I-"
"Why did you stop coming over?"
"I'm sorry about that it's just been hard trying to reach you. I've been busy with football but that was our last game so I'll have time for us.
Toby looked up and smiled but covered it with a pillow. Brooks lowered the pillow to reveal a rosey faced Toby.
"Aw look at that.. I made you blush." Brooks said as he squeezed Toby's cheeks.
Toby tried to slap his hand away. Then he grabbed the large had that was teasing him and kissed his hand.
"I missed you." Toby said as he choked back more tears.
"I missed you too Tobias." Brooks whispered in Toby's ear which made him shiver.
Toby looked up and met the eyes of the boy who has just inches away from his face.
While keeping eye contact Toby placed the boys finger in his mouth and began sucking on it.
"Whoa hey.. we can't do that right? There's people downstairs.." brooks said nervously.
"Whou caurs" Toby said with the boys finger still in his mouth.
Brooks shrugged and removed his hand from the boys mouth and kissed him.
Toby nearly let out a whine as he felt the lips he'd been craving for a week.
But Toby was craving much more than just a little kiss. Toby broke the kiss, "brooks let's go all the way. I'm ready."
Brooks stared at Toby with a shocked expression. He wanted to hear Toby say those words but didn't expect it to be so soon.
"Okay but I'm not promising I'll be kind."
"I won't mind.."
