Chapter 9-Finaly left.

This'll be the last chapter of this story- I have started another book aswell-, I really shouldn't do this to myself seeing as school is going to be taking up my full life from tomorrow on for a view weeks- eh- can't tame the newly awakened creativity and motivation! :D

Anyhow, this story will contain alcohol abuse, abuse (probably), mention of abuse, hospital visits, amputation and similar stuff- so sit back, relax and enjoy this last chapter!

Also, a bit of Techno x Dream and fluff at the end!

Jared pov-
Dream ran inside and I was about to follow him when the ceiling collapsed. I heard muffled screaming from the otherside. "Hello?? Dream!? You there?!", the idiot had dropped his phone. I picked it up. "Heh, no sorry, the name is Jared, but you probably guessed it.", I said. "Ah alright, erm, we heard rumbling and the ground shook. What happened?", the voice asked. "Dream found Tubbo, ran to him, but the ceiling collapsed. Maybe calling the police and ambulance might be an idea?", I proposed. "Phil, call 911, the ceiling of the tunnel collapsed and Dream and Tubbo.", to voice told someone on the other side of the phone. "I'm staying on the line and here, maybe the 2 can get out.", I said. Some murmuring in agreement from the other side if the line. And so I stepped back a bit, and sat down on the sidewalk. Let's hope they'll be alright.

Techno pov-
Shit shit shit!! Collapsed?! "Phil?" "Calling right now mate! Wilbur, Tommy.", Philza said while looking the the young blonde. His eyes staring into nothingness. "Jared? Any updates?", I asked. He said no. "Aight. Philza is calling 911 right now, they should be coming.", I looked at Phil. He nodded. "They are on their way."

I looked at Wilbur that was sitting on the floor, next to Tommy, also looking worried as fuck.

Dream pov-
"Dream!", Tubbo yelled out, running up to me. Well sorta. His leg looked broken and he was walking with an metal beam. Once he got to me he hugged my tight. I hugged back, with one arm, the other still stuck under the rubble. "I'm here Tubbo. I'm here...", I said.

After a little while he looked up again. "I'm sorry i left without my phone! I just, I was to scared to get it...", he mumbled. "It's okay Tubbs, really it is. I found you thats all that matters right now.", we where quiet again.

"Dad also went looking for you.", I said. Tubbs perked up. "He did? What happened?", he asked me. I proceded to tell him the full tale. From me waking up, calling Techno, getting Schlat and than Jared on our side. At the end he was shocked. "So you got dad, and the school bully to help find me!? You are one powerful man Dream! Maybe even a bit manipulative!", Tubbo said all excited. I just hummed. I shouldn't have dropped my phone... oh well.

Outsiders pov-
They all waited for about 10 minutes. Medics, police and firefighters showed up. The medics checked up on Tommy, seeing as he was having an panickattack while the police asked Techno and Philza what happened. On the other side of the tunnel, the medics got ready to give medical attention to Dream and Tubbo, and the police arrested Schlat, accusing him of neglect of his children. Though Techno had told them about the abuse aswell.

The firefighters, not only aquiped for fight fires, started to break into the fallen ceiling. Being careful not to make it worse.

5 more minutes later Tubbo was freed and taken to an medic who checked his leg. Dream was freed soon after, but his arm was fully crushed. Luckely it was his left. They both where send to the hospital. Philza, Techno, Wilbur and Tommy followed while Jared and his crew left.

Techno pov-
I was pacing through the hallway of the hospital. "Techno, how about you go outside so you can calm down a bit?", Philza kept insisting. "No Phil, if Dream gets if our surgery and need me, I need to be here.", I answered.

Dream, in the end, needed surgery. His arm couldn't heal properly. "Tommy is already with Tubbo and Wilbur went home. So Dream will need me.", I let Philza know. "Okay mate, how about this. You go to Tommy and Tubbo, let them both know what is happening and when Dream wakes up, I'll let you know right away?", he tried to strike a deal with me. "It could take your mind off of it, yet still have you nearby.", he said. I nodded and went to Tubbo's room.

After walking for what seemed like hours, but was probably more of a minute, I knocked on the door and walked in after I was given permission. "Hey guys.", I said. "Hey Techno!", I got greeted by Tubbo. "How's Dream?", I got asked. I shoock my head. "I don't yet know Tubbs. I'm guessing you know they'll have to amputate his crushed arm though?", I asked, but by the shock on his face, no, both of their faces, I could tell they didn't know. "Wha, what?", Tubbo said. I just stood there. "Tell me it is a joke!?", Tubbo started crying. Tommy tried to calm him down, it seemed to work. A bit. "Dream is going to lose his mind...", Tubbo mumbled after a bit.

"It is his left arm, I don't know if that helps, but it is.", I explained. Tubbo sighted in relief. "Yeah, a bit. Though you need 2 arm for fencing. And that is his only escape from home, not counting the library we always go to...", Tubbo trailed of again. "How is your leg?", I asked to break the silence that fell. "Just broken, nothing to bad.", Tubbo answered.

We heard running, knocking. "Come in!", Tommy said. It was Philza. I stood up right away. "Hey boys! Can I borrow Techno for a sec?", he asked. I was already walking towards the door. "Yeah sure! See you 2 soon.", I said as I walked out. Phil closed the door.

"Dream is awake and in a state of slight panic. Follow me.", he said almost right away. I followed. A view doors down, what surprised me, Dreams room was. We knocked. Dream and the hospital staff looked up as we walked in with permission. "Techno!", Dream said. Voice shaking a bit. "The staf turned to Phil. "Is this the boy you named?", they asked. He nodded. "Alright, we'll be back in about 15 minutes.", they let us know before leaving.

"Soooo, Dream. How are you?", I akwardly asked. Dream shrugged "Techno, I'm sorry if this sounds mean, but I just lost my fucking arm because Schlat scared Tubbo into taking an dangerous shortcut. I got to apologize though, we'll never be able to fence again...", he trailed of grabbing his hair with his hand. "It's okay Dream! Truly!", I sat down grabbing his hand. "Schlat is in a holding cell, Tubbo is okay, and our fencing matches aren't important. All I care for right now is you being okay. Okay?", I said. Holding his hand now.

Dream sighted. "Yeah... thats okay.", he said. Teary-eyed, yet smiling.

Outside pov-
Tubbo made fast recovery so did Dream. Their trauma is yet to be gone, but they both are in therapy. Schlat got send to jail and Dream can't look at him, so Tubbo is the only one that visited him, with Tommy, so far. He apologized, but Tubbo didn't accept it. He instead told Schlat that he never wanted to see him again. Schlat accepted this, surprisingly.

They sold their house and moved in with Philza, though Dream is helping pay for the expenses like heating and food. Phil, at first, denied his offer, but Dream really wanted to do so. And seeing as I was doing the same, I am 18 aswell, Phil couldn't refuse. The look on his face was hilarious.

Wilbur, Tommy and Tubbo became extremely close friends and Techno and Dream, though they both deny it, have cought feelings for the other.

Philza was glad things ended this way, though for Dream and Tubbo, the scars will never fade. They both are on edge and are over apologetic, though their therapy, which is payed for by Philza, is helping.

Right now, they are all sitting on the couch in the living room, Philza in the kitchen. Dream and Techno in eachothers arms, and Wilbur, Tommy and Tubbo, playfully fighting.

They became an happy family.

AYYYYY, its finished!!! The ending may or may not be liked by everyone, though I promise that, in other books of mine, mostly future books, happy endings will be less present! So you can look forward to those! :D
