(Y/n) yawned quietly as he rolled into his stomach, propping his head on top of his stomach, glancing over at his brother that was currently busy with creating an ongoing project the other had been working on for quite some time.

Kazuha looked at his younger brother in the corner of his eyes and softly smiled in amusement, relieved to see the other all relaxed and comfortable.

"Tired?" Kazuha asked as he brought his gaze back to the object that he had in hand.

"Uh-huh," (Y/n) mumbled out, allowing his head to slump into the comfort of his forearms.

Kazuha laughed softly as he stopped what he was doing, deciding what was finished, was good for now until tonight.

The male turned his body to give the younger his full attention. "Well, it is your day off," Kazuha points out.

"And that's what I hate. Nothing to do but lay around in boredom," (Y/n) sighed.

Kazuha raised a brow with a sincere smile dressing upon his lips. "Then..." He began by trailing off his sentence while standing up and untying the murky grey apron that he had protected his clothes, "why don't we head out for a bit?" He asked.

(Y/n) blinked as he lifted his head, looking at the ruby-eyed male before him.

"But what about that thing you're creating?" (Y/n) asked, raising a brow with a confused look on his face.

Kazuha just shook his head. "I still have time to do that tonight. Today is going to be a brother's day out," he answered while putting away stuff.

(Y/n)'s (E/c) hues widened at that information, before softening a bit. "Are you sure?" He questioned, not wanting to force his older brother into something that he wouldn't want to do.

Kazuha just sent his younger brother a smile. "Positive," he answered once more.

(Y/n) sighed heavily as he got up onto his feet, and straightened out the shirt that he was wearing.

"I'll wait for you at the front door then," (Y/n) states.

Kazuha sent the (H/c)ette with a quick smile of appreciation, before heading off to grab something that the both of them might need.

(Y/n) headed over to the front door of the blacksmith shop, and leaned against it.

(E/c) eyes drifted down to their owner's hands, slowly clenching and unclenching them.

A small frown dotted upon the young boy's lips, not knowing why he was suddenly feeling an emotion he never once met in his life.

And he first took notice of it after befriending the Raiden family's only heir, Kunikuzushi, but decided to ignore it for so long.

Kazuha finally made his reappearance with a coin pouch being held in his hands.

The said male's brows furrowed when he saw the distant look in his brother's eyes, wondering what he was thinking about but shook it off.

"Are you ready to head out?" Kazuha asked.

(Y/n) snapped his head in the direction of his brother's voice. "Oh, um. Yeah, I'm ready to go," he answered.

Kazuha chuckled. "Then let's go," he urged.

(Y/n) sent a small smile to the older before turning around and opening the front door.

The two brothers were met with a bright light slapping in their faces, greeting them to the outside world.

"Do we still have to go out?" (Y/n) asked in a pleading tone, not wanting to go out now if he was just going to be met with piercing beams of light.
