Will You Marry Me?

Taking note of how the week was finally over, Lumine frowned heavily as she stood beside (Y/n)'s figure with her arms crossed over her chest.

Despite all of her and Miko's attempts of getting (Y/n) and Kunikuzushi together, every single one failed.

Or so they thought.

Ei and Miko currently stood side by side as Kunikuzushi stood in front of them with a ticked-off expression.

(Y/n) kept his head low and eyes to the ground as he made sure not to make any eye contact with the boy in front of him.

"This week was a pleasure to go through," Ei states with a tight-lipped smile on her lips.

Lumine nodded her head in agreement. "I agree," she retorted.

(Y/n) lifted his gaze just to skim over Kunikuzushi's figure and land on Lumine.

"I'm gonna go get the carriage and the horse. I'll be right back," (Y/n) states before turning around and walking off.

Miko and Ei took notice of how Kunikuzushi fidgeted, wanting to go after the (H/c)-haired male.

With a sigh, Ei shook her head. "Go, follow after him." She states.

Miko and Lumine's eyes widened when they turned toward Ei's figure.

Kunikuzushi stared at his mother in disbelief.

Ei sent a smile toward her son. "Go, or I'll change my mind." She repeated.

Kunikuzushi looked away and immediately took off after the male.

"You..." Lumine trailed off in disbelief.

Ei released a heavy sigh from her lips as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"I've noticed how both you and Miko have been trying to get them together this whole week. And I noticed how much Kunikuzushi has changed since I fired (Y/n). So, I'm fixing my mistakes and letting them get together," Ei states.

Miko side-eyed the female beside her, before smiling softly.

'(Y/n) said something to you that day... didn't he? I'm glad you were able to change your views.' Miko thought.

Lumine tried to find a reason why Ei must've changed her reason for the two to date before her eyes widened as she quickly shot her head up.

"He asked for his hand and your approval, didn't he?" Lumine asked.

Ei nodded. "I guess... seeing them along with Childe and Zhongli together made something come to mind," she answered.

Miko smiled softly, relief flooding through her system.

'(Y/n), I thank you for finding a way to change her views.' She mused.

"(Y/n), wait!" Kunikuzushi shouted out to the (H/c)-haired male that he had chased after.

(Y/n) stopped what he was doing as he looked over his shoulder in confusion. "Yeah?" He questioned.

Kunikuzushi came to a stop in front of the male and looked up at him.

"I... I have something to tell you," the indigo-eyed male explained.

(Y/n) raised a brow at this.

Kunikuzushi's figure fidgeted under his crush's questioned gaze before releasing a sigh from his lips.

"The first day that we met all those years ago, the day you technically befriended me... I've been having butterflies whenever I think of you ever since that day, and they've yet to disappear. Even when my mother fired you, I couldn't help but still think of you. I, uhm..." Kunikuzushi trailed off as he tried to think of any more words.

(Y/n)'s face became flustered when he realized what Kunikuzushi was hinting toward.

Kunikuzushi clenched his hands to his sides. "This whole week, I couldn't help but feel warm and loved when I had all your attention on me. Ugh, what I'm trying to say is that I love you," he finally mumbled as his face became a dark shade of red.

(Y/n) stared at the slightly younger male before sighing lightly and going down onto one knee, and pulling out a small black box.

Seeing this, Kunikuzushi's eyes widened when he realized what was about to happen.

A nervous chuckle escaped (Y/n)'s lips. "Damn..." He trails off before deciding to speak up again, "I fell in love with you the second we made eye contact on that tree when we were younger. I knew my feelings, but couldn't say it seeing as many people despise those types of relationships despite it becoming common nowadays," he says as he rubbed the back of his head.

Kunikuzushi felt his heart speed up as he listened to the words that were being told to him.

(Y/n) smiled lightly as he opened the small black box, showing a small golden ring band in the middle of it.

"Kunikuzushi, what I'm trying to say is that I've loved you for a very long time. And I was wondering if you'd marry me?" (Y/n) asked, finally breaking the question.

Tears gathered up in Kunikuzushi's eyes as he nodded his head. "Yes," he whispered.

The (H/c)-haired male smiled as he got up onto his feet and took the ring out of the box, and slipped it onto Kunikuzushi's extended hand.

Kunikuzushi stared at the ring in awe for a few moments before looking back up at (Y/n)'s figure.

A gasp escaped (Y/n) as he was pulled down, and brought into a kiss.

(Y/n)'s eyes widened when the warm set of lips was placed upon his own before closing.

The male wrapped his arms around Kunikuzushi's waist, pulling the said boy closer.

Kunikuzushi tightened his hold on (Y/n)'s shoulders and pulled away from the kiss, pressing his forehead against (Y/n)'s own.

"I love you," Kunikuzushi whispered.

(Y/n) smiled softly. "I love you too, my beloved."

The duo shared a kiss once more.

Miko, Ei, and Lumine were staring off from a distance with smiles on their lips.

"Better be planning the wedding, Ei," Lumine states.

Miko laughed softly behind her hand as her eyes sparkled in amusement.

Ei just nodded her head. "I'm just glad I fixed my mistakes."

Lumine just deadpanned. "Of course, you are." She mumbled.

The trio just stared at the newly-to-be weds in front of them.

"The end of a love story, huh?"

"A beautiful love story between Romeo and Julio."
