(Y/n) sighed heavily as he watched the coachman tie down both his and Lumine's items to the carriage that he was currently sitting in with the said female.
Lumine was staring down at a newspaper with a look of grimace on her face. "Ugh. That old woman doesn't know how to keep her yapper shut," she huffed out in annoyance.
(Y/n) sweatdropped at the female in front of him. "Old lady"?" He repeated in confusion.
Lumine dramatically shuts the newspaper and rolls it up, throwing it off to the side.
"Yes! Lady Ei is quite a rude old lady, you know? She's so crude and the people are finally realizing!" Lumine exclaimed.
"That's not how you–" (Y/n) went quiet as a glare was sent his way.
Lumine crossed her arms over her chest in a disappointed manner. "Tell me something I don't know. You hang out with my father way too much," she accused.
(Y/n) nervously laughed as he leaned against the expensive, but cheap-looking cushioned seating. "It's not my fault he likes to hang out with me and Kazuha during his free time," he replied.
Lumine playfully stuck her tongue out. "He acts like he automatically adopted both you and Kazuha the second he saw you two that day," she points out.
(Y/n) hummed lightly. "I don't know about that...but he has been more lively recently," he says.
Lumine smiled in amusement. "Because he finds comfort in you and Kazuha," she sighed.
"Young Lady and Sir Kaedehara, we're ready to make our way to the Raiden Estate," the coachman says as he sits down on his seat that stood out behind the horse that would be pulling the carriage.
Lumine made a sound of approval. "Wonderful! We should be there by dinner as planned, correct?" She asked.
"Yes, Young Lady," the coachman answered.
Lumine unconsciously nodded her head in relief as she turned her attention back to the male she looked up to these past several years.
"Are you sure that you're going to be fine? I was joking when I said you had no choice in coming," Lumine asked in a worried tone.
(Y/n) sent the blonde-haired female a strained smile. "Yeah, I'll be fine. It'll just feel weird entering a building I haven't been near for a long while," he answered.
Lumine sighed heavily as she leaned into her seat, and plopped her head on the carriage's window she sat beside.
"Sometimes I wonder what is scavenging in that head of yours," Lumine mumbled.
The (H/c)-haired male rolled his eyes in amusement at the female before him, glancing at his reflection which seemed awkward to him.
He wasn't wearing his usual gardening clothes, instead, he was wearing something closely related to what high-ranking civilians would wear throughout the day.
The sound of gravel hitting the wheels soothed Lumine into falling asleep with a small smile on her lips, feeling comfortable falling asleep around the (H/c)-haired male.
(Y/n) shook his head as he looked outside the carriage's window once more.
"A few hours of sleep should help the uneasiness... right?" He mumbled under his breath before sighing heavily as the (H/c)-haired male closed his eyes as he felt the carriage rumble underneath his feet.
"I'll wake up...when I need to..." (Y/n) whispered, before deciding to allow his body to fall asleep.

The coachman kept their head forward as they took notice of the upcoming gates of the Raiden Estate that they'd been traveling for, for the past several or so hours.
"Young Lady and Sir (Y/n), we're almost here," the coachman's voice said in a calming but loud voice.
This jerked the duo in the sleeping carriage awake.
Lumine mumbled something under her breath as she glanced at the new destination where she and (Y/n) would be dropped off at.
She turned toward the semi-awake male and giggled quietly when she saw how (Y/n)'s hair and clothes seemed unkempt.
"You might wanna fix your appearance, we're here," Lumine states.
(Y/n) blinked away the sleepiness and fixed both his hair and clothes as told so.
Lumine clapped her hands together as an evil smile slipped onto her lips. "Are you ready to see your future fiance...and maybe husband?" She asked.
(Y/n) became flustered and gave a deadpanned look. "Kunikuzushi and I aren't even in a relationship," he replied.
"Yet. You and Young Lord Kunikuzushi aren't even in a relationship yet," Lumine repeated in amusement.
The male just deadpanned at the female before him.
"Plus! Both of you are on first-name bases! So that is something," Lumine points out.
"Just... let it go," (Y/n) sighed.
Lumine just smiled as she turned back toward the Estate's direction.
