The Plan Starts Now!

The next day popped up like a casual Tuesday, but it wasn't Tuesday, it was Monday.

(Y/n) could be seen sitting beside an amused Lumine who had a smirk on her lips while staring at Ei with a mischievous glint in her eyes.

Kunikuzushi sat beside his mother, staring at the duo in front of him with a jealous look on his face despite knowing that Lumine and (Y/n) weren't even in a relationship.

Miko stood behind the couch Ei and Kunikuzushi sat on with her arms across her chest while keeping her eyes on both Kunikuzushi and (Y/n)'s figures.

Lumine clasps her hands together as she leans forward with a small menacing smile on her lips.

"Oh? Is there something you'd like to ask, Lady Ei? I'm pretty sure you're probably wondering how a commoner and someone with wealth got together," Lumine asked, urging the woman before her to snap.

Miko stared in silent amusement, knowing that Lumine was ticked off at the indigo-eyed woman despite the said blonde-haired female easily hiding that emotion.

Ei scoffed lowly as she leaned into the cushioned couch.

"Families of high importance are to be married to one another. Your brother and that commoner of a blacksmith of yours are breaking the code that many have settled upon the wealth," Ei retorted.

(Y/n) mentally rolled his eyes but stared blankly at the woman that fired him all those years ago.

Kunikuzushi gave an annoyed look but didn't dare to say anything to his mother that could screw him over.

Lumine raised a brow. "Code? What "code"? Oh, you mean that "code"~. The code that's been broken one too many times, right? And the code that is supposedly determined to be false because of how both poor and wealthy fit so well together as of recently?" She asked.

Miko immediately knew what the duo was talking about, so she turned her attention to Kunikuzushi and (Y/n) since she didn't want to watch the two young adults see a possible catfight.

"Why don't you two go and hang out somewhere for a bit? At least until these two can cool down," Miko piped up.

Lumine and Ei didn't hear the pink-haired female due to them glaring at one another.

Kunikuzushi was about to deny it since he wanted to watch the showdown but took into consideration that he could be around (Y/n) by just himself.

The young adult nodded his head as he got up onto his feet.

(Y/n) sweatdropped but followed the slightly younger male.

Miko followed behind the two males, ignoring the soon-to-be catfight behind her.

"I'll tell you, guys, what happened later. See you two in a bit," Miko whispered as she opened the door for the duo.

The indigo-eyed and (E/c)-eyed male deadpanned at the female, but quietly thanked her as they left the room that now had a heavy atmosphere.

Kunikuzushi stared at (Y/n) for a few seconds before huffing heavily. "C'mon, we're heading to my room to have a pleasant chat."

(Y/n) paled when he heard the underlying tone of poison in Kunikuzushi's voice, but didn't dare to say anything.

"Uhm... okay," (Y/n) whispered as a nervous laugh escaped his lips.

Kunikuzushi looked away as he led the (H/c)-haired male in the direction of his bedroom, a small ghost smile slipping onto his lips.

The indigo-haired male could tell what Lumine was hinting at.

It was true that the poor and wealthy were slowly becoming trustworthy toward one another.

The thing that first sparked that idea was how an heir from a family in Liyue had both married and eloped with a fashion designer from Snezhnaya.

"We have quite a lot to catch up on," Kunikuzushi states.

"...I thought we did that outside...?" (Y/n) questioned as sweat rolled down the side of his head.

Kunikuzushi sent an annoyed look at the (H/c)ette's figure.

"Okay, okay! Just...please don't kill me," (Y/n) pleaded.

Kunikuzushi rolled his eyes as he looked away once more.

'Why would I kill you...when you're the only person that I can stand in this wretched world.' Kunikuzushi mused.

Miko sent Lumine a ghost smirk, causing the said female to smile a little.

Their plan was all coming together now.

All they had to do was show that Kunikuzushi and (Y/n) belonged together no matter how long it took to receive appraisal in Ei's eyes.
