Luana ran towards the edge of the deck and dove gracefully into the water. She swam around, twirling and admiring the ocean. She came up to the surface, watching her siblings and the Omaticaya jump into the water. She smiled to herself at the way they threw themselves in. Everyone began to swim through the reef. Luana enjoyed watching the Sully kids' fascination with the coral, and the fish. She could see Kiri out of the corner of her eye, taking everything in.
The Sully kids were slower swimmers, so Tsireya and Luana made sure to try and slow themselves down to swim with them. Aonung and his friend did not care to wait for them.
They watched as the sully kids started struggling, and swam to the top of the water. Tsireya gave Luana a confused expression, and Luana shrugged. The sully kids dipped their heads back in the water. Tsireya signed for them to swim with her, but they shook their heads in confusion. Tsireya just gestured for them to come, and they began to swim back down.
As the Sully kids were swimming again, they kept coming up to the surface. Aonung signed; 'whats wrong with them?' to Luana. 'They are not good divers', Tsireya rolled her eyes. 'They're leaning', she signed.
Tsireya, Luana, Aunong and his friends swam to the surface too. "Are you alright?" Luana asked, watching the Sully's breathing heavily. "You're too fast, wait for us!" The little girl exclaimed. "You guys are not good divers. Maybe good at swimming through trees but-" Luana stopped Aunong speaking by pushing his head under the water.
"This finger talk, we don't know what you're saying" The oldest sully brother said. "I shall teach you" Luana said, guiding him to swim with them again. As they were swimming, Luana noticed the little girl struggling to keep up. Luana swam back towards her. She offered the girl her hand, to which she took it. Luana swam with the little girl. Despite her only having one arm to swim with now, she still as fast as her siblings.
Neteyam watched his sister Tuk swim with Luana. He smiled, that Metkayina girl was nice.

"Lulu, do you mind helping Neteyam? I'm going to go teach Lo'ak how to ride the ilu" Tsireya said, clearly wanting to have some time alone with Lo'ak. Luana didn't mind, anything to make her sister happy.
"Sure" Luana said, looking towards the oldest Sully brother. Tsireya smiled, and ran off towards Lo'ak and the others.
It was just them.
"Neteyam? I'm Luana" she said, taking a step closer to Neteyam.
"Hi Luana" He said. His voice was deep, and he had an interesting accent. Luana liked it.
"I'll be teaching you to ride an ilu" Luana said, turning her back to Neteyam as she called for her ilu. Her ilu eventually swam up to her, snuggling into her leg.
"This is my ilu. Her name is Ionia. She is very gentle, and is a nice ilu to start with. You will be just fine" Luana said, turning back to Neteyam and keeping her eyes fixed on her ilu.
She brought the ilu next to Neteyam. He swung his legs onto her back, and adjusted his hips. Luana watched as he straightened his posture.
Luana stood beside Neteyam and her ilu. "Make the bond gently" She said, and watched as he reached behind his head, making the Tsaheylu.
"Now put your hand here" Luana said, pointing where to put his hand. He grabbed ahold of the Ilu. "Like this?" Neteyam said, turning his head towards Luana. As Luana stared into his eyes, she couldn't help but notice how yellow they were. They were beautiful, intoxicating.
"Yes" Luana said breathleslly, struggling to take her eyes off his. It was only after her ilu tapped her with its tail, that she was brough back to reality
Luana looked at her ilu, noticing the similarity of her pattern to Neteyams eyes;
"Look, she is the same colour as your eyes" Luana smiled, looking up towards Neteyam again. He looked down at the ilu, eyes skimming the creature. "Oh yeah" He smiled, laughing a little.
"Okay now, bend your back forward slightly, and engage your core" Luana said. She watched Neteyam lean forward a bit.
"No. More-" She said, placing her hand on Neteyam's stomach, and using her other hand to gently lean him further forward, She felt his abs tense at her touch. She eventually stepped back, checking his form. Once she was satisfied with it, she let him have a go at riding it.
He took off, gliding slowly underwater. He was doing pretty well, until his hand lost grip and the ilu left him behind. Luana laughed to herself, as her ilu swam back to her and nestled itself on her leg. Neteyam swam back with a frustrated look on his face.
Neteyam kept trying to master the ilu, and eventually another hour went by. By that time, Neteyam had gotten pretty good at riding the ilu.
Luana was watching from afar, arms crossed, Neteyam and her ilu gliding through the water. He was going faster each time. Just as she was watching him, she heard someone come up next to her.
"Hey Luana, do you mind helping Tuk ride the ilu? She wanted to ask you but she's being a bit shy" Kiri asked, Tuk clinging to her leg. Luana's heart immediately swelled at how cute that was.
"Of coure! Here Tuk i'll show you" Luana said. Tuk smiled, and let go of Kiri.
Tuk was a little nervous to go by herself, so she ended up clinging to Luana's back while she rode the ilu through the water. Neteyam watched, and laughed whenever Tuk would rise from the water in a fit of giggles.
Luana loved Tuk, and thought she was the cutest thing ever.
