"You guys need to be more careful around that coral, okay?" Luana said, holding one of the little girls hands in her own. Luana was playing with her ilu, when two little girls came up to her with cuts on their hands from some spikey coral. Luana often had people come up to her with injuries, and she always healed them with her abilities.

"Thanks Lulu!" One of the little girls squealed, the two running off and admiring their now perfectly healed hand. Luana just laughed to herself as she watched them scramble off. Luana sighed, looking down at her ilu. She put her hand down in the water and her ilu laid its head against it.

Luana's moment of peace was interrupted by the playing of a horn and something flying from the distance. Many Metkayina people gathered near the sand, awaiting the mysterious arrival. Luana curiously watched from afar as a group of na'vi dropped to the sand. It was a family, from what Luana could see. She saw her father, Tonowari, make his way over to them, so she decided that she should probably join. Her father was the leader of the Metkayina clan, and Luana would soon take upon that role herself. Not only because she was one of the oldest out of her siblings, but because her healing abilities made for a great leader when it came to leading warriors.

Luana dove into the water, holding onto her ilu. When she got to the sand, she broke the tsaheylu and pet her ilu as it swam away. She started to walk out of the water, drops of water falling from the two braids that framed her face. She adjusted her top a bit and wiped some of the water off her chest as she walked towards the newcomers. It was definitely a family. There were the parents, a little girl, an older girl and two boys. Luana stood next to her father and watched as the family signed; 'I see you' to her father. The family must've known you were Tonowari's daughter, because they said it to you as well, you returned the gesture with a warm smile across your face. These na'vi looked different. Their skin was more blue, and their figure was lean and tall. Luana's gaze fell on one particular na'vi; the taller brother. Mainly because she noticed how his gaze skimmed up and down her body. When his eyes met her eyes again, he gave her a small smile. Luana simply tilted her head to the side, and looked away.

Luana's siblings soon joined everyone on the beach. This included her little sister Tsireya, and her older brother Aonung. She walked off to the side with them as her father and who she found out was Toruk Makto talked.

"Look at that, is that supposed to be a tail?" Aonung's friend, Rotxo teased. Aonung laughed and grabbed ahold of the eldest brothers thin tail. Luana smacked Aonung's hand. "Skxawng!" she scolded. Aonung simply smirked at the newcomers. Luana stood next to Tsireya. Luana listened intently to what her father and Jake Sully were saying. She felt sad watching the way the littlest girl was looking around anxiously. The little girl made eye-contact with Luana, and Luana tried her best to give her a reassuring smile. The little girl smiled back, and gave her a little wave.

"Hey"

Luana looked for the mysterious voice, and realised it was the youngest of the sully's sons, saying hi to Tsireya. Tsireya looked away and smiled to herself.

Luana poked her arm, and leaned her head on her sisters shoulder. "He's cute" Luana whispered to her sister. Tsireya just giggled and leaned her head in; "shut up"

"My son Aonung and my daughters, Luana and Tsireya, will teach your children the ways of us Metkayina" Tonowari explained, gesturing to his kids. Aonung scrunched his face up and crossed his arms. Luana sighed. She didn't have time for this. As much as she found the Omaticaya people fascinating, she was too busy. She needed to improve her healing abilities, and commit to learning the ways of a leader. Luana did feel bad for the Sully's though, because this must be very hard on them.

Tsireya didn't seem too upset about it.

"Come, my sister and I will show you our village" Tsireya smiled intently, gesturing for the family to follow her. The family followed her across the sand and towards the village. Luana trailed along the back of everyone.

"Hi, i'm Kiri" a girl said, starting to walk with Luana. Luana looked up and smiled at her. "I'm Luana, its nice to meet you" She said, her eyes trailing toward her hands. Five fingers. Luana didn't say anything - she didn't want to make her uncomfortable. "I love your bracelet!" Luana said, pointing towards her wrist. Kiri's face lit up, her hand grazing over her wrist. "Really? Thank you! I love your hair" Kiri replied. Luana began to twirl her front braid in her hand, skimming over one of the little shells woven through it. "Thank you" Luana said.

She liked Kiri already.

"This is your new home" Tsireya said, guiding the group towards their new room. The sully family piled inside, putting their things down. Jake Sully looked around the room. "Yeah, this'll do. This'll do just fine" He said. Luana walked beside Tsireya as she watched Neytiri huff and drop her mat in an awkward silence.

Luana clasped her hands together, willing to do anything to break the silence. "We will give you all a minute to get settled. Let us know if you need anything" Luana explained, trying to make them feel welcome.

"Thank you" Jake said to them. Tsireya and Luana nodded and walked away.

Luana had realised two things after welcoming the sully family: That this was going to be a long next couple weeks, and that she was scared shitless of Neytiri.
