The tense silence in the room and buzzing anxiety from Shouto were palpable. Enji was either relishing in it or utterly oblivious, because he seemed to be drawing it out as long as he could.

"Jesus Enji, say something, you're making them all nervous."

Enji turned away from the three boys and gave you an affronted look. "I am?"

You sighed. "Yeah, love. Say hi or something."

He hummed and looked directly at Izuku. "You must be Midoriya."

"Yes! I mean, yes Sir."

Enji frowned. "Just Enji is fine."

Another bout of silence. You studied Enji's face. "Have you been sleeping enough, En?"

At that, his mouth twitched and you had your answer. Your disapproval must have shown on your face because he scoffed. "As if you can talk. Hypocrite."

Shouto looked distinctly uncomfortable with this, probably expecting you and Enji to fight. Thankfully, you knew Enji was honestly just being cranky.

"I got a new quirk that helps with sleep deprivation to some extent. I'll be fine."

He narrowed his eyes and then looked away, almost turning his back to you. You chuckled.

"Yeah okay, sulk all you want now but we're going to talk later, okay? Clearly a few things are bothering you."

Enji seemed ready to deny it but shut his mouth as quickly and he opened it and nodded.

"Good. Anyway, I have a bunch of shit to do so I wanted to thank you two again. You did good. Also no training for the next three weeks, Izuku. I want you to recover both physically and mentally from the whole ordeal. Do you want me to find you a therapist for the time being?"

The boy seemed to consider it before saying, "I suppose it could only do me good but my mom doesn't have the money right now."

"I'll be paying for it obviously, dumbass. I'm making a shit ton of money at the moment, thanks to En and All Might."

Izuku hesitated but after glancing at Shouto, he nodded his head. "Thank you, (Y/N)."

You waved him off and turned your attention to Bakugou, who seemed to be trying very hard not to say something.

"Spit it out, Spitfire. You look constipated."

He huffed indignantly but his sneer was soon replaced by a look of confusion.

"So you're the reason Deku looks like the Hulk these days? You're training him? For fucking what?"

You looked the boy up and down. "So he can be a hero, obviously. As much as I dislike the idea of you kids training this fucking early, it's his dream and I'll help him achieve it."

"But he's quirkless-"

"So was I," you admitted. "I trained my ass off before I took it too far and nearly killed myself. I can tell Izuku is just as stubborn as I was. I'm making sure he doesn't hurt himself. He's been doing a fantastic job. I'm proud of him. If you make him feel otherwise I will have the nurses move you to another room."

Bakugou was clearly seething. The way he barely contained himself reminded you of Enji in the early stages of your friendship.

"Can I..."

"Can you what," you asked, playing coy.

He let out a loud sigh through his nose. "Can I fucking join? The training I mean."

Your gaze turned to Izuku who seemed surprised, and then Shouto who seemed ready to cuss the blonde boy out.

"It's up to Izuku. Not me or Shouto," you pointedly gave your son a stern look and his anger deflated as he nodded.
