You put the helmet on, more as a disguise than for your safety. Frankly you couldn't care about either of those things. You had to get to the school as soon as fucking possible. You zoomed out of the hideout without explanation, thoroughly breaking the speed limit as you weaved in between vehicles.
You transformed back to your usual appearance and yanked off the necklace that functioned as a camera when you were working undercover, throwing it behind you. If Dabi recognized you now, you'd just have to deal with it.
At the next intersection you stopped on the side of the main road and threw the helmet aside.
"Arisu."
She hurriedly placed her hand on your arm. You shot into the air without further ado and flapped the wings with almost unhinged urgency. Your back was going to hurt after this, dear God.
After another two minutes, you'd arrived at the school grounds in near record time and nose dived down into the courtyard.
Clearly not fast enough, however.
The courtyard was in ruins, teens laying sprawled out on the desecrated ground. Some groaning in pain and others - more concerningly - not.
You couldn't see the source of the destruction yet.
"(Y/N) over here come quick!" You heard Izuku call out. Your gaze zipped to the archway to your left. You ran to him, already equipping the quirks you'd no doubt need.
"Apathy, Berserker, Speed, Kiyomi, Exoskeleton, Talons. Am I fighting in a closed space, Izuku?" You inquired while running a pace behind the boy.
He answered the affirmative.
"Let go Arisu."
When you reached the hallway, you'd have certainly gasped had you not been using your apathy quirk.
Bakugou was clearly injured, holding off a large monster that was trying to reach a group of students behind him.
The beast had a muscular body, claws and a bird like beak with sharp teeth. It's eyes were bulging out of their sockets and it's brain was almost entirely exposed.
With one fluid motion you grasped the thing's brain in your palm, yanked it out of its skull and pushed the body to the ground. You stomped on its head repeatedly, until bone and grey matter coated the floor.
You heard a few students retch in the distance.
"Status report, Bakugou."
The boy panted, wiping sweat and blood from his pale forehead and answered.
"Three of these monsters appeared. Two are being dealt with by heroes outside. This one got in. Backup hasn't arrived yet. It can regenerate even its head within a matter of minutes and has multiple quirks. You'll have to kill it again soon."
'That fucking bastard,' you cursed in your head, before turning to the boy once more.
"Did most of the students evacuate?"
"About half. There are a few stuck in the hall. They tried to barricade the doors but one of them nearly got kicked in. I lured the monster here. Unfortunately the other kids were stuck in the courtyard," his face scrunched up and he let out a wet sob that he masked as a cough.
"It's my fault," he mumbled.
You gave him a significant look before looking down at the crushed head at your feet. It had already started knitting itself back together.
"Fuck, if only Enji was here," you muttered. "Can you go to the hall? Both you and Izuku. I need Izuku to administer first aid and I need you to guard the damaged door. I'm going to bring the injured children from the courtyard into the hall and check for any other life signatures.
