Cora couldn't sleep so she got up early the next morning. Five was still sound asleep so she kissed his cheek making him stir but his eyes remained closed. He hugged her tightly resting his head in the crook of her neck.
Coraline definitely felt better than last night and the cut on her forehead was almost completely healed leaving just a small scar.
She slowly sat up and got dressed. It was around 7 so she wanted Five to sleep in at least another hour. Cora saw Diego was asleep on the couch and Elliot sitting near a radio
"Hey, one of those machines you asked for is going crazy."
"Which one?"
"It's the, uh, atmospheric radar." Elliot said making Cora smiled
"Vanya."
"I don't get it. What are you tracking? A hurricane? A storm front?"
"Sound waves." She said and went to Josephine's room. She opened the door and saw Josie was asleep. She gently shook her making her shoot up.
"What happened!"
"Whoa, nothing happened Joe." Cora said making her relax.
"Are you ok?"
"I'm fine, Josie." Cora reassured.
"What are you doing up? It's like 7 am?"
"I wanted to talk to you"
"About what?"
"Everything" Cora shrugged and Josie scooted over for her to sit.
"How are you feeling?" Cora asked and it was Josie's turn to shrug.
