Cora woke up to an empty bed which made her sigh. Five had always been an earlier riser. She once had gotten him to stay in until 6 but that was if she was lucky. Cora sat up and saw some clothes on the nightstand. Cora saw a sticky note on top and recognized Fives handwriting.
Bought you these, when your ready I'll be downstairs
Coraline smiled at the note and changed it o a black T-shirt with jeans. She put on the leather jacket as well before going downstairs. On her way though she passed by Allison and Vanya's room. She heard crying and opened the door to see it was Allison.
"Ally? What happened?" Cora asked walking over to her.
"She's gone"
"Who?"
"Claire. She- she's gone"
At first Cora didn't know what she meant but then it clicked. Claire didn't exist in this timeline.
"Allison- i-"
"Don't, don't try and find some silver lining or anything. She's gone. My own child is gone and I have nothing of her. This is all my fault. I knew something could go wrong if we came back. I knew it, and I risked it anyway. I left Ray to be with Claire, and now... Now it's like she never existed. And I don't even have a picture of her."
