Celine's POV:
"Celine, can we please watch something else?" My boyfriend, Jonah, asks me as I continue to watch my favorite show, paternity court. I don't realize that he asked me a question, because I was too focused on the situation to hear him. He looks at me, waiting for an answer for a few more seconds, but doesn't receive one. I continue to watch the TV and he grows impatient. "Celine!" I immediately snap out of my gaze to look at him. "What?" "I said, can we please turn this boring show off?" "What's your problem, Jonah? Can't I just watch a TV show that I like?" I ask him. "You've been ignoring me this entire day." I immediately feel bad for not realizing that I haven't really said anything to him today. He finally got some time off and he chose to spend it with me, but I haven't even spent any time with him. "I'm so sorry. I didn't realize that-" I don't get to finish my sentence because he cuts me off. "No, Celine. I'm sorry that I'm interrupting your time with your favorite TV show." He says and walks upstairs into the bedroom. I turn off the TV and run after him. "Jonah! I'm sorry, okay?" I say as I follow him into the room. Once I get into the room, I see him laying down on the bed. I walk over to him and lay down next to him. "Jonah." I say as I put my hand on his cheek. "I'm sorry that I ignored you today, but I promise I won't do it again. It'll just be you and I for the rest of the night." I say and kiss him on the forehead. He sighs and looks me in the eyes, "I'm sorry too. I overreacted." He takes a pause to pull me into a hug. "I guess I've just been stressed out with these upcoming games that I'm really nervous for." "It's okay, I understand. If you ever need to talk about it, just talk to me. I'm always willing to listen."
"Thanks, Celine. I love you.""I love you too, Jonah."
