Celine's POV:
From the day I married Jonah Gadjovich, I knew he would be an amazing dad. I loved watching him interact with young children during various charity events and listening to him gush about it after. We both had discussed it and were both looking forward to being parents and raising a family, maybe hockey players or soccer players like their parents. A year after our wedding, i found out i was pregnant. When i told Jonah, he had tears in his eyes and a grin plastered across his face. 9 months later, a baby girl was born and he vowed to always protect her. Over the next few years, I was pregnant again but I ended up having a miscarriage with the other had two daughters we were going to have. Jonah and I were obviously sad and he got a puppy as like if it were another baby, he loved the girls with all of his heart but i could tell what he really wanted. We put our daughter Lydia in hockey camp as soon as she was old enough, learning basic skills and skating around with other young girls as my husband beamed from the sidelines. But, as much as he wanted her to, she liked it but not really playing it she liked soccer a bit more than hockey. Jonah was always understanding about it though, trading in his skates for princess slippers on more than a few occasions to humor Lydia and the puppy sometimes as well with a tea party. He never said anything and I knew he never would but he didn't have to for me to know how he felt: it crushed him a little bit to not have a son to carry on the Gadjovich legacy. After i had the last miscarriage, i could tell he had almost given up on having a son. We both had came form pretty big families and one kid and a puppy already felt like so many. I loved my little Lydia so deeply and i wanted to make sure that she felt that. Adding another kid to the equation was scary because we both didn't want our daughter to feel neglected, or to go through another miscarriage. That being said, Jonah and I hadn't taken extra precautions against it. We just weren't actively trying in the same way as you had with the other potential baby's. So when i found out i was pregnant with another baby,I  was a little nervous and a little scared. Some of the nerves went away though when i went in for my first ultrasound and found out my baby was a boy. I was instantly consumed with happiness, not only for myself and my daughter but for my completely unsuspecting husband. Jonah had been with me the last three times i had found out i were pregnant but they were miscarriages besides our first. I had never had gotten to do any of those cute announcements that i always saw on Pinterest and i figured now was my shot. Jonah was away for the next two nights so i had time to brainstorm and plan before i saw him at the next home game on Thursday. I was planning on taking our daughter to the game anyways so i figured i would get her to help. Thursday morning rolled around and i had it all figured out. Lydia always loved to make posters for all of her dad's games so i would help her, as usual, but this time i would make my own poster to. Lydia spent all morning painting boards with glitter paint and sticking flower stickers all over. I helped her write sweet messages for Jonah to see before starting to work on my own poster. When i had finished, i knew that it would be perfect. It said "Make Space on the Roster: Another Gadjovich Coming to San Jose!", in various shades of blue and 'Gadjovich' was in teal. I was but wasn't the best at drawing but i included a small doodle of my husband passing to a young boy. I spent the rest of the day buzzing with excitement, wishing for the 7:30 pm start to roll around sooner. At about 6:40, i got Lydia in her Gadjovich #42 jerseys before putting on my own and strapped them into the car to drive to the stadium. I usually sat up in the box with the other families of players but, today, i knew i had to sit front and center. I got there after most people had already taken their seats, smiling as the friendly security guards guided us down to the front row, right behind the glass. As Lydia caught sight of her dad warming up, i grinned as she squealed and screamed for him to look at her posters. He came over for a brief second to come and wave and blow kisses before returning to his team. I made sure to keep my poster hidden so that the fans around me didn't see it before Jonah did. I could hear them whispering around me as they began to realize who i was but they all remained sweet and respectful, smiling as Lydia rambled on about how proud she was of her daddy. I didn't want to distract Jonah anymore than Lydia already so i decided to save my poster until the end of the game. Uncle Mario came over to say hi to Lydia as well as a few of the other players, laughing at how much she looked and sounded like Jonah. They all loved Lydia and Lydia loved them. Jonah didn't come back for most of the game but i could tell he always played a little bit harder when i came. Little did he know he was playing for three tonight, including me, and not just two.
The game went amazingly. The boys swept the Dallas Stars, Jonah scoring 1 out of the 5 goals scored and assisting in another. The energy in the arena filled everyone as the final buzzer went off, Lydia was screaming. Jonah was still celebrating with his team, but i knew he would be over shortly. Time to put up my poster. I had Lydia help me hold it up, standing to the side to wait for his reaction. Some of Jonah's teammates saw it first, laughing and pointing before giving me a thumbs up. I could tell some reporters got sight of it as well because i could see the flashing lights out of the corner of my eyes. But i couldn't care less at all. As far as i was concerned, the world was just me and my family right now, a little perfect bubble amongst the chaos of the arena. Finally, Jonah turned around, pausing for a second to read what the poster said before a deeper smile took over his face. I took the Lydia by the and took her onto the ice through the player's box, slipping a little bit but standing up as my husband rushed over. Lydia got to him first and he her into a hug at the same time, his eyes still trained on me. When Lydia let go, he skated up to me, wrapping an arm around my waist and half spinning me around so he could hold me up right on the ice. "It's a...? Are we really having a son?" He asked, the excitement in his voice filling me up. I look into his eyes and smile deeply, nodding a bit as i feel tears swell up. "Our little hockey star. Just like his dad" i say, hugging myself closer to him. Everyone is watching us at this point. The guys are awe-ing, the fans are cheering, hoping that maybe in 20 odd years they will get another player to love, and the reporters are snapping photos, soon to be plastered on every newspaper in San Jose. Jonah takes off his helmet and tosses it on the ice, freeing a hand to hold my face before leaning down and kissing me sweetly, so much love and joy held in one small act. I could stay in this moment forever when i feel Lydia latch onto both of and our legs, causing him to laugh a little right into my ear. "I love you, Celine. So so much."

"Yo también te amo, Jonah. Tú y esta pequeña vida perfecta que hemos creado"
