It's not always the marks on someone's flesh
Or those waters that stream down from someone's eyes
It is not always visible to the eyesBut sometimes a perfect illusion to make a truth out from a lie
Dark clouds can be behind sunshine
And rain can be those clouds that still holding
And earthquakes are just underneath rattlingReality can sometimes hide behind curtains
Let actors do the play
And simply stage a perfect playBecause behind every limelight is a dark spot
Of truths,
and of struggles, and of brutes
But we chose mascara to play in character
And hid ourselves,Playing someone's character.
