I am not the girl you'd like to settle with
Because I am not the girl I'd put up with if we are together
You say I'm a ball of sunshine
But all the pretty smiles, and my loudest laughter
Those are sound of agony; wishing to be released from misery
Remember all those cold nights we spent together
The warmth I have given you;
It is not as warm as my inside
If only you have gone deeper
You'd feel my heart as cold as ice
I may have kept you warm, but it's not because I'm a sunshine
It's just very cold inside
And I just need a little warmth
I may have want you with me
But I know you're just as temporary
As those who have gone by
That even if you want me to stay
I'll leave first because that's how things will ever be
Because even if I try to be,
I am not the girl I have always wanted to be.
