"Hatter, you need to add your power to Alice's now! Jabber just spoke to me and told me that Magdala is hitting her with her most lethal weapon, Fear. It makes you see everything differently, your greatest nightmares coming to life, seeing your life from a completely new perspective. Slowly it breaks you down until you start wondering what is true until you grab hold of the false reality and can't escape. You become a different person, and you lose sight of who you truly are. Jabber has tried talking with her, to break her out, as he did with the Basilisk, but there seems to be a barrier blocking his way. Only you can set her free!" Jacky burst forth in his mind, as she quickly related to him what was going on.

He had not been slacking during this whole time, he and Jacky had completed the bond, and just in time. The moment it snapped in place, Hatter had felt when the Queen had tried to take control of Jacky once again, but it hit the bond and flung back the spell with no hesitation. He immediately started fighting off some of the generals on his way back to Alice.

When he got to the place where he had last left her, there was an impenetrable force field separating the Queen and Alice from the rest of the battle. He could barely make her out, he saw her entranced by the Basilisk and yelled out to her when he saw her convulsing in pain, 'come back to me, Alice!' It seemed to work because right after he saw the shift happen and saw her transform, making him grin with proud triumph.

The battle continued to rage on, and suddenly there was a massive fight coming his way. It caused a prolonged distraction as he started to fight against some more of Magdala's army. Twenty soldiers thought it would be wise to all rush him at once, and one by one they met their doom, but he wasn't left alone for long. Suddenly, some fairies arrived dropping fire, water, and earth, as well as manipulating the air to make the enemies fall like locusts.

Harrison came running out, charging in with no hesitation, fighting alongside Hatter, they went back to back and took out the rest of the army that was near them. "Man is it good to see you! I heard rumors that you were flanked by Magdala and I made my way here as soon as I could." Harrison greeted once the immediate threat had been taken care of.

"It's good to see you too, how is the battle going over where you were? You heard right, the rumors were true, I was battling Magdala, and I held up my own as I blocked some of her attacks. I thought I was a goner for a minute there, but then Alice showed up and she is in there now, battling against her. I can't get to her though, she is blocked by some force field, and it is making me pissed off! I'm going to break that stupid barrier if it's the last thing I do!" Hatter slapped Harrison's back in a hug, before answering him back, finishing with a glare over in the direction of the blockade.

It was getting harder to see what was going on, there were storming clouds all around, looking like a dark dome that spelled ominous trouble. Causing Hatter's fear to spike and him to anxiously worry about how Alice was and what exactly was going on in there. Harrison's voice pulled him back to reality as he responded.

"Jack, Cat, and Katy have got it covered, as do all the other generals. With the way the battle is going, we are slowly winning the war. Katy discovered a way to rescue some of the soldiers and we have been setting as many as we can, free. Our numbers are growing and the soldiers that were once fighting against us, are now fighting for us. It happened when she was able to free Jack, she figured out how to do it to others and it has been working. Unfortunately, it doesn't work on everyone, those who have chosen the darkness completely, but those who are still battling Magdala's control on the inside can be spared." Harrison related in excitement, watching Hatter's face closely as he told him what was happening.

"That's amazing! I'm glad we don't have to kill everyone, they deserve to have their freedom just like all of Wonderland. I see Cat was successful at recruiting the Fairy Kingdoms, their help is making all the difference. Can you believe this is all finally happening? After all this time, here we are, fighting the final battle and succeeding. None of this would be possible without Alice, which makes me want to get to her even worse. You have no idea what it's like to know the love of your life is in there with a Psychopath and there isn't anything you can do. I feel so powerless, even with all my powers." Hatter's shoulders slumped in dejection, the struggle, the pain, the fear was all boiling inside him, just waiting to burst. He almost wished there were more men to fight, at least then he had an outlet for all of his anger.
