This time, Sophie tried to put aside such a conundrum for a moment. She had just woken up from her sleep a few minutes ago. So it's impossible to force her brain to think, right?
On the other hand, since Sophie was already in Duskwood and didn't fully know the city yet, she decided to take a short walk outside in the area around her motel. Even though the sun hadn't risen and it was still quiet, Sophie thought this was the perfect time to feel the real Duskwood City air.

It's been 5 minutes Sophie walked along the edge of the road which is still close to the Motel. Even though it is said to be a city, Duskwood still has a lot of trees. Classic European-style houses and shops make this city seem attractive rather than scary because of the position of the area which is still surrounded by dense forest.
As it turned out, there was a bakery across the street that was already open. Wanting to buy it, Sophie immediately crossed without looking at the traffic situation around her. And.... sure enough. A car passed very close to Sophie.
"This is how my story ends." Sophie said to herself, sounding helpless again.
Sophie closed her eyes, and the tears began to fall little by little. Sophie begged or hoped that she could get through this without the pain that would appear afterwards.
At the same time, Sophie felt the grip of someone's hand that was on her arm pulling her to avoid the reckless incident she was doing. Her eyes began to open again.
"Who helped me?" she thought.
Now, Sophie felt someone take her body into that person's arms. It felt like this person wanted to protect her. Sophie could not see the mysterious person's face. However, she could see this person all-black appearance. Starting from a bag, a kind of hoodie, and a mask that covers part of this person's face.
Apparently, Sophie recognized him....
