Alicia's point of view:
Kara and Miles were now the newest case on polices and detectives hands. Every newspaper article, website, television ads and news all spoke of the murder of Kara Lynch and Miles Brown. One afternoon, Emily and I were called into the police station, once again to be interviewed. When we arrived, we were sent straight away to separate rooms to be interviewed. In the last two weeks, I had done this plenty of times, and every time I would tell them the same story of what I knew about their murders.
The room was small with a large desk for the room, placed in the middle with two plastic chairs on either side of the table. Already sitting in a chair was a man who looked in his early forties. He had short, brown hair and golden eyes, olive skin with stubby grey hairs growing out from above his lip and his chin to his cheeks. He wore a freshly ironed suit, with a plain tie and cuffs. He gestured me to sit down, so I went along and sat down in the chair opposite him.
"Hello, my name is Max Fields, but I am known as Detective Fields. I believe you may already know why you are here today Miss?'"
"Alicia. Alicia Roberts. And yes, I do know why I am here today. How may I help you?" I replied.
Mr Fields shuffled forward in his seat and placed his clasped hands on the desk.
"I'm only asking of one thing from you," he began.
"And what is that?" I also shuffled forward in my seat and placed my hands on his desk.
"You must tell me everything you know about both Kara Lynch and Miles Brown murders."
Before even asking him what I was required for, I had known the answer. I honestly didn't know what happened to either Kara or Miles, none of us did. Except for Nina. My suspicions were now growing on her. She had been with both Kara and Miles when they had died.
I told the detective the usual story, I hadn't been with Kara or Miles when they had died so I knew close to nothing of there death. But this time, I added something else to my story.
"And after all this, I know I must've disappointed you but as I said, I was not with Kara or Miles at the time of their death."
Mr Fields let his head hang loose and his face now looked down at the desk. He clapped his hands together and than let them fall loose as well.
"Well it's too bad that you didn't know more, but thank you for coming in today."
"It's no problem at all. Is their anything else I can do to help you?"
Mr Fields scratched his head and than said, "do you know anyone that may have more details about these murders?"
I moved an inch closer to him. "Actually, I do for a fact." I stood up from my chair and began heading to the door, stopping as I opened the wooden door, "trying asking Nina Parker. She was with both of them when they were killed." And with that, I walked out of the room.
