Seth's point of view:
I had spent all day at the gym, trying to tone up my body for summer. By 3:30, my body was exhausted and on fire from the cardio and workouts I had participated in today. I grabbed myself a towel and whipped the sweat off my face and from my neck. I grabbed my sports bag and exited the gym.
It was only a twenty minute walk from the gym back to my home, so to continue the great amount of exercise I had done today, I walked myself home. While walking home, I checked my phone, not having checked it since 9:00 this morning. I was frazzled to find seven missed calls and fifteen texts from Vinny. She had also left three voice mails. I listened intently to them.
"Message received today, at 9:10am. *Beep* Hi, it's Vinny here. I really need to talk to you, it's urgent. Would you be able to meet me at the field later today, around about 3ish? It would mean heaps, see you later."
I checked my watch, the time reading 3:46. I was late. Of course I was. I saved the voice message and continued onto the second one.
"Message received today, at 2:58pm. *Beep* Hey, it's Vinny again. Um, I'm not sure if you have been receiving my texts or calls today but could you please meet me at the field right now!! Please."
Her voice had sounded not only intense, but scared. Vinny being scared? That was unheard of. Finally I listened to the third and final voice message.
"Message received today, at 3:15pm. *Beep* Is it true? Have I caught you finally! *Smash! Smack! Thump! Coughing! Spluttering! Gasping! Screaming!* Yes"
Then nothing. I stared down at my phone and without another thought, I ran. I ran to the field. I knew I would be too late but that didn't stop me from running as fast as my shaking legs would take me.
Alicia was the murderer and Vinny was going to die.

Sorry that this was a really short chapter but I feel as if no one is reading this book and I'm kind of just writing it for no point? I get hardly any views, comments or votes and I don't know whether to finish the book or not....?
