Vinnys point of view:
That afternoon, I crept out of my room, down the spiral staircase and out the front door, making no sound out all. I ran the half of a mile down the street until I reached the silent, still, field. I had brought no one, just as I had been told, but my phone lay in the pocket of my skinny jeans I wore. The time was 4:55, I was early but I guess it was better being early than late. I sat down and ran my fingers through he soft, luscious and healthy grass. I thought about everything that had happened in the last month. How had our lives changed so much? Everything was fine....until Nina came along. Was she really the main cause of all this drama and heartbreak? Or was someone framing her. I guess I would find out today.
The time passed to 5:03 and still I sat alone in the field. The cold wind brushed against my bare arms and the hairs on my arms stood on end. The sky was becoming darker and the day becoming quieter and closer to its end. I checked my messages on my phone. Nothing. I checked the time once again. 5:07. Was I being too impatient? I figured I would stay for another ten or so minutes and if no one showed up, I would leave.
My thoughts were interrupted by a loud howl. I turned around to look behind me and I met my surprise. Lying on the ground, were the dead and deceased bodies of Kara, Miles and Emily. Kara had a large gash slit across her stomach, while Miles had had his throat slit. As for Emily, she looked as if she was just sleeping. No severe damage had been done to her body, at least, none that I could see. I covered my mouth with my hands and began breathing heavily. Who could have done this? Who could have done such a horrible thing to such innocent people. This was too much to take in. I jumped up from the ground and began shouting and screaming at the top of my lungs, as loud as my voice would let me, "WHERE ARE YOU YOU DEVIL! SHOW YOURSELF! YOU CAN'T HIDE FOREVER!" Tears were running down my face now and my body was shaking madly. I couldn't control my fear or my anger.
That's when I saw something, far out in the distance. I couldn't control my body or my thoughts any longer. I ran towards the figure in the musty distance. I came to a halt.
"Nina! Is that you!?" I yelled to the distance figure.
The figure stumbled, tripped and then fell to the ground. I ran towards the fallen person and soon realised it was Nina. I pushed her into her back and she slowly opened her eyes, slowly adjusting them to the light.
"Nina!? What are you doing here?" I asked. Nina suddenly grabbed hold of me and began shaking me madly.
"She brought me here! She's going to kill me! She's going to kill us all!!"
"What!? Nina, who is she? Who is going to kill us all!?" I yelled into her face.
"The murderer? The murder is..."
That's when Nina fell to the ground with a thump. I looked up, into the face of the murderer, holding a baseball bat in their hands.
"I told you to come alone." She whispered.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We've been so close to discovering who the murder is a few times now and every time someone is close to figuring out who it is, the murder somehow stops their secret from getting out.
But trust me, you won't have to wait to much longer to find out, the murder will be uncovered soon! The next few chapters are about to get serious!!!I made a new cover for this book and I changed the name. What are your thoughts?
Don't forget to like, vote and comment! Doing this will help dedicate me to posting new chapters more often! :)
Thanks for all the support guys!~ Kayla
